"Mummy, I wanted the pink birthday cake! Not the purple!" The little girl yelled at her mother, pointing to the perfectly iced purple cake on the table.
"I know sweetie, but they didn't have any pink ones left. What's wrong with purple?" The mother asked, stroking away a loose strand of her daughters hair.
"It not pink! I wanted the pink one!" She yelled, storming away. The father walked over to the mother, comforting her. The girl ran to the swings, swaying back and forth as she softly cried.
"Hey. What's wrong?" A little boy asked, making the girl look up. The guy was pretty, she thought. She wiped away her tears, standing up.
"My mummy wouldn't get me the pink cake!" The girl replied, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I have a pink cake!" The boy replied, running away. The little girl waited until the boy came running back, holding a box that sure enough had a pink cake in it. She gasped.
"Where did you get this?" She asked. He chuckled slightly.
"It was for my sisters birthday, but she had to cancel her party because she got ill" he replied, making the little girl smile.
"Thank you mr!" She said, running to
Him and hugging him, before running away to show her mum her new cake.

"I don't understand why you can't just agree with me for once!" She heard her mother yell, a frustrated tone laced in her voice. They girl cried softly, leaning her head against the door.
"It's not my fault I married an IDIOT!" Her father yelled back. She silently wept as her parents continued to fight over nothing. She finally heard a door slam, and then a car leaving the drive away.
She wiped away her tears, grabbing her jacket and slipping in some shoes. She opened her window, climbing down the tree and jumping off.
She walked until she was at the park, sitting on the swings, her favourite place in the world. She looked out at the view of the lake. The park had recently become abandoned, meaning not a lot of people came.
She sat there, looking at the beautiful scenery, when she heard a cough behind her. She snapped her head around and saw a boy, not much older than her. He smiled at her and sat in the swing next to hers.
"What are you doing out here so late?" He asked, swinging slightly.
"I could ask the same thing to you" she shot back.
"Touché" she heard him mumble.
"I thought no one came here. It's abandoned. So what are you actually doing here?" She asked, pushing the swing back with her legs.
"Just needed to get away" he replied, staring at the lake.
"Same" she muttered, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Well I should probably go, my mum might have noticed I'm gone" she told him, not liking the fact her secret place was, well, not so secret anymore.
He nodded, waving his head goodbye. She waved back, before walking the route back to her house. She never saw that boy again.

Little did she know it was him all along. He had known her much longer than the two months he said he had. He had practically watched her grow up, hiding in the shadows and watching her grow into the beautiful girl she was today.
She realised this too late, and she knew, she would never be able to say anything to the boy again, or the man he had now become.
It was then she realised, all along, he was by her side, even if she didn't know he was there, he was. But now, she would never have the opportunity to thank him
The. End.
BUT THERE WILL BE A SEQUAL. DO NOT WORRY.
I will try to post it as soon as possible!
Bye for now x
