A few weeks later, I was kinda back to my old self. But I still kept away from Calum when I could. I spent most of the days around the apartment, baking, watching tv and playing with Loki, and at night I snuck out with Luke.

Calum hadn't found out about our little meetings, he'd for sure kill luke if he did, literally. I can tell he's getting suspicious though.

I was in the kitchen baking some red velvet cupcakes when I felt arms wrap around my waist. I knew it was Calum from the strong smell of his cologne and smoke. I pushed his arms off of me, walking towards the fridge to get some more butter.

"I'm going out today. Me and the guys are heading to the market to get some stuff. You want anything?" He asked.

"Some more ingredients for cookies would be good, since you never let me do anything else" I replied, muttering the last part under my breath. But of course he heard. I'm convinced he has super hearing.

He sighed and grabbed his keys, walking out of the apartment.

After I'd put the cupcakes in the oven, Loki trotted up to me, sitting down and looking back up at me with hopeful eyes. I laughed to myself slightly and pulled out a slice of ham from the fridge.

"Paw" I said, and he put his hand in mine. I let go if it and went into my knees.

"Lie down" I commanded,l. He did as he was told, lying down on the tiled floor, staring at the piece of ham.

"Roll over" I said. He rolled over, nearly hitting the fridge. I laughed slightly and petted his head, giving him the ham.

"Good boy" I said, scratching behind his ear. His tail was wagging like crazy as he scoffed down the ham.

I walked over to the couch, turning on the tv. Friends was on, and I could already tell it was the one where no one was ready, because joey walked in dressed in all of chandlers clothes. I laughed slightly. I wish my life was as eventful as theirs.

Hours passed and Calum still wasn't home. Or maybe he was and just wasn't coming up to me. I don't know, and to be honest, I don't really care. At least when he's not here I get some peace and quiet.

Ashton came up about two hours ago to get Loki. And apart from that I haven't spoken to anyone all day. Yay for me. Notice the sarcasm.

Just as I was about to head upstairs, the door opened, and Calum walked in, a smirk on his face. I sighed.

"What have you done now?" I asked. His smirk grew and he grabbed my hand, pulling me out of the room. We went to the elevator, going down.

"Calum, what are you-"

"Shhhhhh"

"But I want to kno-"

"Shhhhhhhhhhh!" He said, the smirk still embedded into his face. I sighed, giving up with the arguing.

The doors pinged open and he led me out into a similar hallway to the one I saw when I first arrived.

We walked to another oak door, but this one didn't have anything engraved on it.

He pushed open the large door and what regretted me shocked me more than engaging ever has in my life.

"Surprise"
