It's been two weeks since the little stunt Calum tried to pull. He had gone off to a meeting, leaving me in the apartment on my own. I was really bored, and couldn't stay in this room any longer. Running my eyes over the room, the only thing I could focus on was the door. I walked over, and twisted the handle, finding it unlocked. I quickly ran to the elevator.
I walked in it, pressing loads of random numbers like Calum usually does. The doors actually closed, and I felt the elevator go up. I almost started crying with happiness. Maybe I could actually get out of this hellhole, this time making sure no one saw me.
The elevator doors opened, and a breeze instantly hit me. I looked out, seeing I was on a roof. There wasn't a lot around but there were a few other buildings and houses. I walked towards the edge, looking down. I was at least ten stories high.
And idea came to my mind, but it wasn't a good one.
Luke's POV (start the music here)
I walked up to the roof, needing a smoke. Meeting are so much more stressful then people would think. I was on my phone, texting Calum, when the elevator doors pinged open. Slipping my phone in my pocket, I walked outside.
I saw someone out there aswell, standing on the roof ledge. As I looked closer, I realised it was Ashley. My eyes widened and my hand went to my back pocket. Pulling out my phone, I texted Calum
Get to the roof. NOW
"Ashley?" I said quietly. She didn't jump or turn around, just stayed looking out.
"It's a beautiful view isn't it?" She mumbled.
"Ashley, why are you up there?" I asked, slowly approaching her. She turned around, and I saw her face streaked with tears. She stared at me for a few seconds, her face emotionless but her eyes still letting tears slip. She ignored my question.
"Why should i stay here? There's nothing and no one here for me. I stay locked in that suffocating room all day. I am only allowed to eat when he says I am. I'm only allowed to shower when he says I am. I'm only allowed to go to the fucking bathroom when he says I can! I can't do anything without his permission. And if I do one thing out of line he abuses me. What's the point of being alive if I can't live" she yelled, he voice cracking at the end. My heart fell.
"Ashley, you can't do this. It will break his heart" I tried to reason with her. She scoffed.
"He has a heart?" She cried.
"Yes. And it belongs to you." I was a couple of meters away from her, if I could just get a bit closer.
"You know, you're the only one that's been remotely nice to me. You're the only one that cares enough to be here. If he actually cared about me, I wouldn't still be standing here right now, would I? I would be with him. But no, he leaves me locked away. Not giving two shits about what I do. And then he has the audacity to say he loves me?! He doesn't love me. He loves the idea of loving me. But in actual fact he doesn't love anyone but himself"
"Ashley, please, please, get down from there" I pleaded, only being arms length away from her.
"Ashley!" I heard someone shout from behind me. Her eyes widened, and I turned to see Calum standing in the doorway, his face holding pure horror.
"I'll be with you know, teddybear" she whispered. Taking one last glimpse at us, she spread her arms out and fell backwards.
"NO!"
The end
Just kidding 😂
Also does anyone ship her with Luke? Just wondering
