I was waiting in the apartment, yet again. Honestly, what does Calum have so many meetings! And the only thing that seems to be on the tv, that I actually watch, is friends. Not that I'm complaining.

The door opened, and I turned, expecting to see the familiar tan face, but instead saw a blonde one.

"Luke!" I screeched, jumping around the back of the couch and towards him. He chuckled and opened his arms, to which I jumped into. He lifted me up and spun me around.

"Good to see you too" he muttered, laughing softly. I hit his arm playfully.

"Hey! You try being stuck in here all day! By the way what are you doing here?" I asked, pulling away from him.

"Calum asked me to check in on you" he replied, walking towards the kitchen. He opened up the fridge and took out a can of soda. I nodded in response, grabbing a soda as well. It went quiet for a bit, both of us just standing there in comfortable silence.

"Ash, I have a question and I want you to answer it with complete honesty" he told me, his face going as serious as I have ever seen it. I nodded, placing the can down on the counter.

"I've been thinking. You don't like it here do you?" He asked, still completely serious. I shook my head, a feeling of nervousness growing inside of me.

"Well, i started to think about it. Really think about it. And I realised I don't want to be in a gang. I never have. I guess I joined because I thought I owed Calum for saving my life. But, I've been with him for four years now, and it just doesn't feel right. I thought maybe I'd grow into it, kinda like getting into a habit or something. And I almost did, until you arrived." He paused, and I could feel my heart racing a mile a minute.

"What are you saying Luke?" I asked, feeling like my heart was going to physically burst out of my chest.

"Run away with me?"
