In the last chapter, I mentioned a book called the Screwtape Letters. While a bit of a literary joke on my part, I highly suggest it as prime reading material when you want something a little more thought provoking than my deviant smutty fantasies. The Screwtape Letters was written by C.S. Lewis, the same author who wrote The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

I first came across the Screwtape letters while in high school. In fact, I didn't even read the book first. My grandparents took me to a performance of the nearly 3 hour long monologue in Kansas City. As a theater student, I was impressed by the professionalism and the memory of the actor. It left an impression on me that has remained.

I found the audio book December 2019 while searching through Audible. Since it was on sale, I purchased it and absolutely fell in love with the reading.

If you are a Good Omens fan, or enjoy thought provoking pieces, I highly suggest this book. It's also a wonderful study for fledgling writers in the sense that it offers a new way of looking at dialog and point of view.

And now, you amazing deviants, let's get back to the story!

xoxo,

Avia Rein
