Fitz's P.O.V.
In the next few weeks after Simmons came back, she changed.
She stopped trying to be around me, and spent more time with the other scientists. I think she made one friend, a woman with black hair. I don't know her name.
She stopped talking to me a lot too. Simmons was cold towards Mack, not letting him say something without a comment.
It was upsetting for me. If she had a problem, why didn't she just say so? I had told her my problems, why couldn't she do the same?
She was drifting away, and I didn't like it.
But soon, I decided I'd have to ignore it, so I did.
I was drifting away.
