Signa's POV

Our house was completely thrown down. All the luggage gone.. except for the biggest one. Guess it was too heavy for whoever bothered trying.

I grab ahold of It and somehow manage to roll It out to our doorstep, pulling It down our front stairwell and trying my best without breaking the wheel. My father's car awaited me some steps away.

My parents were already seated inside. You could barely see them talking to one another, and from the looks of It, they were probably on the verge of canceling the whole moving day. They just loved to create problems when both of them are compromised into something. Still, all of our furniture had already been taken away by the truck, so even If they'd want to cancel today, they knew very well that they'd be sleeping on the ground, until they decided which day would be the best day to move. On the other hand, my brother was packing the remaining bags in the trunk.

As I stand still and roll the big luggage next to me, my parents turn their heads, as If they'd been talking about me behind my back until now. I wouldn't doubt It If my brother were to tell me that. A disappointing look takes over my mom, and my father as well. See, I just knew I was their topic of conversation.

I look at them all for an answer and that's when I get a shitty comment from my father. Well, not that shitty, but very annoying in my point of view; "Didn't you want to bring that over earlier, perhaps?" He sighs. I knew very well an answer to that, but I decided to suck It up and do everyone a favor for once. I really don't want to fight my parents the whole drive.

I get closer to my brother and ask him what I could do with the luggage. He slowly shrugs, looking around the car. The trunk was to the brim, and mostly filled with smaller equipment; This suitcase was the biggest thing we were taking.

An hour later, I'm sat leg-crossed on the car seat, because the luggage I brought last couldn't fit in the trunk, not even by chance, so now I had It placed neatly where my feet would go. It really isn't uncomfortable, but It could be better.

I'm Signa, Sig for short, and for some reason, I'm a girl with a completely boring life, from what my mother says.

I have parents that care more about themselves before anyone else, even more than their children, but I got used to It with time, reaching the point where It doesn't bother me as much anymore. And then I have my brother, a sick asshole with random kindness every once I while. Him and I, we've learned how to live by our complete selves, since even If we are under the same roof as our parents, we couldn't fully live out of them, not entirely.

The drive along the coast is long, but as It takes It's precious time, I can't help but take pictures. I've only been to the coast a couple of times, but since I lived in northern states, we would only visit northern coasts when I was a little girl, making the water too cold to attempt swimming in It, and the sun fade away in less than minutes of arrival. A sunny coast full of people was beautiful in my eyes, and I couldn't wait to feel the supposed warm water once we finally got to our new and desired state.

"Welcome to Florida.. again" My Dad voiced out, since It had been the third sign we had seen stating that we were close to arriving to Florida.

The sun shines down at our car, as the clock on my phone finally hits exactly four o'clock in the afternoon. The radio was playing summer tunes, and I wanted to dance to all of them, but from how small the space I was in was, I could barely bounce my head from one side to the other.
