Signa's POV
My stomach gurgles, yet I knew very easily that nobody could hear It over the song currently reverberating in the car. Although, I still sensed the nerves seething through me.
We finally parked in a wide, nicely decorated driveway, and stepped out to continue sluggishly pulling our feet into whichever house this was.
I could've asked out of curiosity, but It was too late once one of the girl's lips spead apart, inhaling air.
"My parents won't be coming in for a few more hours so.. we can blast the music up If you guys want." She gives us all a smirk, and that's when my un-asked question has been definetely answered.
We walked to what I felt was going to be her room in a very collected manner. I had slowered my pace as I walked behind the rest.
I still don't know what the hell I'm doing here..
Maybe my mind is telling me to make new friends, but are these really the people I'd want to relate myself with? Not to judge a book by It's cover but.. It's the second time I've seen one of the guys in front of me giggle for no certain reason. Also, they all had a very unique scent, one that I didn't want to discover for myself.
As we got into the pretty girl's bedroom, I sat down at the very corner of the bed, trying as best not to slide off. The other guys had decided to completely lay on It, including my brothee.
The girl closes the bedroom door and my little body shivers as It stopped within the frame.
She gives me a look, which I'm not able to deceive the thoughts going on inside her head as she does. I was looking up at her like a puppy, waiting eagerly for something interesting to happen.
"You're Signa, right?" She sounds out her voice, and I'm potentially stuck in this weird position on the bed as I try my best not to fall off. I'm closer to the floor than I am to the bed. If only my brother and his friends wouln't take up every inch of It, I'd probably sit a little farther inside.
"Yeah, that's me!" I give her the widest closed-mouth grin I could dare to have. "And you are?"
The room goes silent, but only temporarily.
"Sabrina.. Nice to meet you!"
I smile again.
She had blonde, very thin hair. Brown shiny eyes, as well. She was actually really pretty, I was completely sure of that. The other guys, including my brother, began laughing and whispering things between themselves. I look at them, my cheeks flushed, and put my mind into a completely blank state.
Get It together, Sig. You can't punch the shit out of them; not with your flimsy little arms, of course.
Just as my brother sees my mushy face as I tried to avoid them, he coughs his laugh and stops his friends from laughing as well.
He did It too awkwardly, so much so that I didn't let myself acknowledge him any longer.
In my next life.. I'm asking for a sister.
"Can't I say Hi to Caleb's sister without you guys becoming total dipshits?"
The guys seemingly chuckled again, but I couldn't hear a sincere laugh behind that tone. That was awkward.
"Alright.. Do you guys want anything to drink, or eat? I've some pot." She whispers at the very end, as If trying to hide It from somebody. I could hear her very well, If It is that her whisper was engaged just because of me.
Most of the guys nodded, my brother eyeing me for half a second, so I gently nodded as well. I don't want to say yes, but I don't want to say no either.
