Jaden's POV:
As I observed the group of people chatting outside the door, I catch a furious head turn over to me.
Mom..
She sarcastically smiles, before going full on killer mode and giving me her predominant death stare.
I observe my midget of a mother, before notching my eyes up at two people behind her.
Signa's.. parents.
"I'll be back shortly." Mom turns back to the guests, and closes the door, super gently, but still straight in their faces.
That seems disrespectful, even If she did It slowly.
She puts down my Clair, who began running around the house as If an ant were biting her ass once she touched the ground.
(A/N: I might've addressed Claire's age wrongfully before. She's about four, If I ever said any other age.)
Mom paces over to me, and swats the side of my arm. "The daughter of your friend came here last night?"
"What daughter?" I crook my head to the side with a cocky look.
"You know, I thought you had friends over, so I didn't barge in just so I wouldn't annoy you guys, but a girl, Jaden?" She scoffs, rubbing the side of her temple.
"So should I go get her or..?"
"Yes!" She shouts reluctantly, before I turn like a dumbass back to my room.
"That's why there was another car. God.." I hear her whisper to herself as I walked back to my room.
Mom tends to be annoying, but nevertheless, she's been getting all of my respect for some months now, still ongoing.
I wonder how the hell Caleb's parents knew where her daughter was. If he told them, I'm not giving back his fucking car.
That's right, his car is in my driveway..
Maybe they have a fucking car tracker on him or something.I walk inside my room to see one of my t-shirts, openly placed across Signa's back. She's still sleeping.
"Hey, Sig" I pick on her shoulder with the push of a finger.
She mumbles into the pillow, before turning her head over to me.
She looks like a whole ass chipmunk. I almost throw myself off the bed from keeping a chuckle in.
I poke one of her chubby cheeks but she doesn't respond.
What was my reason to asking her out to a date..
I don't think I had a reason. She liked me, she did say that. I didn't wanna say no. She seems like a nice girl, although I used to think she was annoying some time ago.
I stay on the edge of bed, relaying on the million thoughts racing inside my head for a whole minute.
This girl reminds me of my old self, and It's attracting me more and more each second.
I rub the palm of my hands on my eyes. I'm in deep, aren't I?
I finally breath out, and gulp a large amount of saliva I've been letting be a part of my mouth for too long.
I finally pick up the pace and push myself up from the bed.
Right as I turn to wake sleeping beauty, there she sits, leg crossed and completely out of the covers. Her weak, and early eyes, show off that she's not a morning person at all.
She finally grumbles before falling on the pillow again.
As she eyes me up and down, and takes a look at herself, I guess she realizes she was still wearing one of my shirts.
Her cheeks immediately flush before she begins looking for her clothes. I mean, she did ask for something to wear..
"Your parents are waiting for you at the door. I'll wait outside, just dress-" I say, before she jumps up from the floor and takes my arm in her grasp.
"Stay" She said, kneeled on the edge of the bed.
She was still half asleep, but I somehow ended up obeying her.
I tried not to look, okay?
It was in my consciousness not to look.. but It was already hard enough.
I took glimpses every minute, and to watch her dash my shirt off from her body has to be the most extravagant yet interesting thing I've surely seen in months.
Yeah, shit.. I'm in the deepest fucking hole a man could dare to dig.
"D'you see my shoes?" She dazzingly smiles in front of me.
I'm caught in the wrong moment, but I point to where I left her shoes before falling asleep last night.
She recovered them and sat next to me to pull the leathered converse on her feet.
"So my parents came?" She shook her arms, intensely pulling the shoe around her foot.
I nod in silence, "Weird, right?".
"No.. Mom tends to get crazy when I'm not at home. It's the usual."
So she's never home, to what I understand.
"So Caleb gives them your location?"
"Yep.. most of the time. If not, she sometimes asked my friend's parents." She ends up tying one of the shoes and proceeding to put the second one on.
Her parents must've left by now.. It's been more than ten minutes.
"Isn't It a wonder how they don't care about me in the slightest, but when I run away from home, I'm always back where I started?"
She's kinda right, but I stay in silence. I don't want to talk so much about her parents when I barely know a few facts about them.
I tend to judge old people a lot, even If they deserve It, I need to stop.
She finally stands up with pride, and I do as well.
I walk her outside of my room, and all of a sudden, she's taken from her arm and out of my view.
Her Mom walks her out, without even dashing a goodbye to us.
I watch the door slowly close and lock as they left.
My arms crossed themselves, as I realized my parents also witnessed that.
Although, Instead of having them on my side, I saw their putrid faces glaring me down as If I had really fucked up now.
Claire's dainty fist also knocked on the front of my knee, as If them staring into my soul already wasn't enough.
