Caleb's POV:

One month later:
Wednesday, September 18th, 2019▪

"Happy birthday, Sig!" I silently salute to the bathroom door, as Signa closes It right in front of my face. Well thanks, sis.

It's already the sixteenth day of the month in which she's avoided me, and that means It's not because of her period.

I mean, I don't wanna judge, but I really thought It was her period taking control over her on the first week. Then, after those first seven days, I realized she was actually mad and that It was genuinely not her uterus.

She's mad, angry. We already know what she's on about, though. If I say Jaden, her.. and I, does It ring a bell? I guess she sees me as the intruder to her new-found 'relationship', even If it is one.

Either way, I still have to drive Signa to school.
My sister and I have been car buddies since Dad bought me a shit car and pushed her to me as one of my top priorities. I prefer choking on water than having to actually take her every day. Even now, when our brother-sister relationship is a whole conundrum.

But Dad doesn't even want her as a daughter, less have me as a son, so I guess Signa is actually better off with me.

But that's It. I just have to deal with It all.
Yeah, I do prefer choking on water.

Signa finally comes downstairs. She was dressed a bit abnormal from the usual clothes she puts on, but I really didn't care. As If she was trying to show much more skin than every other day. I hope she impresses whoever It is she wants to impress.

Meanwhile, we waited for Dad to leave, and we finally got in my car. Sig strongly sighed as she sat with me. I crooked my head over at her and saw how she tried to gently burry her short nails into her arms.

"Happy Birthday, again.." I remove her hands from her arms. She rolls her eyes and continues to carve her nails in again. She's slowly getting on my nerves each day.

We finally arrived to school after a while. I went my way, and she went hers.

As the day went by, I greeted some friends here and there. Classes are still sturdy, but I'm really hoping It goes as easy on the final exams. Although, we just started school, so why should I be worrying about that now.

Some friends who were also close to Jaden were still sticking by my side. I wasn't sure If I could trust them as easily, for now.

2 days later▪

"It's my sixteenth birthday, don't I get to pick where to go and who to be with?" Signa shouts to the air, but I knew It was for Mom. My feet dangled off the couch, as I watched the football team kick the ball against everything but the goal.

"We're inviting the family, you like It or not" Mom thumps on the floor, ironically. I couldn't see her but I sensed It, since she always tends to do that when we don't do as she says.

"Okay, you invite whoever you want, but If I'm not here, don't blame It on me." Sig follows up with a diva-like attitude.

"Oh really, then where Is It that you're going?" Mom follows behind her ass as Signa stood right in front of me.

I moved my head from side to side but I couldn't catch the game.

There were still discussing and I couldn't really believe she wasn't moving from this place. Does she not realize I'm watching something important right now?

"Get out the way! What are you, fucking invisible?" Sig looked down at me with precaution. She intensely huffed the anger out as I spoke to her. Take shit, we're siblings, I can't not speak to you forever.
