Chapter 10

Clementine has woken up to the soft snores that the boy she could now call her boyfriend released. She was over the moon by the fact that they were finally together. She wanted to spend the rest of her life with him she was sure of it.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the buzzing of her phone. She quickly released herself from his grip and looked at it. 'Oh shit' she thought to herself she forgot to call lee before she went to sleep last night.

Of course he would be the one ringing her. She reluctantly answered it and held it the her ear covered by her messy hair. L:"Clementine?"
C:yeah dad...
L: I remember specifically telling you to call me if you were going to be out late!" He yelled through the phone "are you ok? Were are you? I want you home now." He added bombarding her with his questions.
C:Sorry dad I'm completely fine I spent the night" she replied
L: "Spent the night?! Spend the night were with who?"
C: With Louis...and before you ask I just slept over nothing happened..." she trailed off
L:I want you home now and when you get here you're grounded" he said harshly
C:Dad! That's not fair I'm sixteen I deserve the right to spend the night with my boyfriend!" She said Angrily not thinking about what she had just said

Just then Louis woke up at the louder shouts clementine was projecting.
"Clem is everything okay?" He asked worriedly
"Uh yeah Louis everything's fine" she quickly replied.
He laid back down on his bed and drifted to sleep again.

L:BOYFRIEND?!" Questioned Lee
C:You know what dad I'll be home in a little while..." she said as she abruptly ended the call

She sighed as she crawled back into bed hands draped over the dread heads chest. She loves the sound of his heart beat...so comforting...
"Lou?" She questioned "hmm" he replied as he yawned "i have to go" she sadly said "Nooo" he groaned flipping on his side in a spooning position. "Yeah Louis my dad called I have to go home but I'll se you later I promise" she said as she reluctantly released herself from his grip and got out of bed. "I love you" he said unknowingly "what was that" Clem said a little shocked.

"N-nothing I said bye see you later" he said quickly as he got up and kissed her in an attempt to get her to forget to what he just said.

She softly moaned into the kiss as she pulled away "bye Louis" she said grabbing her things and quickly pecking him on the lips before
exiting his room.

She ran outside and and walked down the street they didn't live that far apart so she didn't mind walking.

Clementines pov:
I walked for a while enjoying the cold breeze and the eerie silence that surrounded her. The leaves rustling and her foot steps were oddly relaxing. Eventually my head was full of thoughts and all of them were on that oh so amazing boy. What if I fuck it up. I fuck up everything. What is something goes wrong. She didn't want her relationship with Louis to end.

Just thinking about all of this overwhelmed me and made me want to cry. I found myself in front of my house staring at the white stairs leading up to a brown door. I missed Louis already. How much it would hurt if we broke up she thought. I was already attached to him.

General pov:
Her thoughts we put to a halt
"Clementine get your ass in here" she hear her father yell as he stood at the door way. She sighed and slowly entered her house.
"Child were have you been?! Do you know how worried we are?!" He interrogated.
"Don't interrogate me!" She yelled as she ran up the stairs
"That little 'boyfriend' of yours I don't approve of that!" He said
"I don't need your approval to be happy" she retorted
"Oh your a clueless teenager you don't know anything!" He shouted
"What I do know is that you've been to busy to see that I am depressed that I don't see the point of living anymore I have been so unhappy and you don't seem to notice. But you should know that for the first time in a very long fucking while-" she said as he cut her off
"Don't talk to me with that language" he said sternly
"I've been happy he makes me happy I have something to look forward to when I wake up in the morning!!!  Open your fucking eyes I'm happy and to you that's all that should matter!" She yelled gripping onto the railing at the top of the stairs. She ran into her room slamming the door. She walked over to her bed and put in her ear phones. She hopped into bed laying in a fetal position. The song let it go by James bay came on and she couldn't help but cry as she listened.

Her phone buzzed and checked the message. It was from Louis she couldn't help but smile.
Louis: hey princess:)
Clem: hey...
Louis: is everything okay?
Clem: no
Louis: what happened??
Clem: me and my dad got into a big fight
Louis: about what?
Clem: our relationship
Louis: oh...
Louis: i would never hurt you Clem I don't think I could live without you. I would give you everything I have to make you happy I hope he knows that I would never do anything to hurt you.Ever.
As she read the message her eyes started to tear up again
Clem: I don't care about what he thinks you make me beyond happy the happiest I've been in a while... without you my life would be nothing.
Louis: same here love❤️

Just then she heard a knock on her door. "It's open" she said
Lee walked in head hung low "Clementine honey I'm sorry if he makes you happy then I'm happy. But if he ever hurts you I'll kill him" she giggle "that won't be necessary he's amazing dad and he really does make me happy so thank you" he nodded and walked out the door.

AN: I keep forgetting about Gabe  he won't be heavily mentioned In this book but will be in some chapters. Oh and Aj I keep forgetting him to I'll try to implement him more in the following chapters. ❤️
