Her delicate twisted smile, persuades you,
Like so many before her,
Only you think this time,
must be different,
That it isn't possible for a person to suffer,
So many times without learning the lesson,

So you go with the flow,
Her consistent giggle draws you in,
Her talkative personality snares you down,
Her passion devours you head first,

Once again,
Your life is based around her,
Once again,
You let her break you,

It begins with the sniggering,
Behind your back,
Before too long,
It's the constant whining,
That you aren't up to her standards,
And your stomach flips,
Because you know it is true,

Later on,
She speaks of poison,
To your friends,
And then ignores you,
For a day,
A week,
Her number is blocked,
And she partners with another,

Very soon,
She is nothing more than a face in the halls,
Laughing hysterically to her new friends,
At you.

Once again,
You have not learned your lesson,
Once again,
The one time you make a friend,

It turns out to be fake.
