Wings

My wings are damaged,
Broken, filthy and torn,
Stuck out in a particular angle,
To block the spotlight of the sun,
Too small to be noticed,
As it is beshadowed by the wings of angels,
They're bigger, brighter and unforgettable,
Then there are mine,
Death black and marked by Satan,
Out of place,
And wrecked among the crowd,
My wings are damaged,
My wings are damaged,
My wings are damaged,

My voice in a world full of panic (poetry) Where stories live. Discover now
