A boy and a girl sat under a tree,
Mourning silently over her dead Grandmother,
The girl cracked a fake smile,
Spontaneously, the boy asked the girl,
"Are you a liar?"
The girl frowned,
"Of course not," she replied,
The boy and the girl held hands,
As she stared up at the clouds in a dreary wonder,
Her eyes grew misty and weary,
The boy asked,
"Are you ok?"
The girl answered "Yes."
The boy sighed and stood up,
"You contredict yourself,
That was a lie."
The girl's mouth dropped open in confusion,
Helping the girl up,
The boy said,
"Don't ever pretend you are ok,
When you aren't,
Not with me,
Because after a while,
Those words pollute your mind,
And it is just as sickening to say,
As it is to hear."
