WHEN WE DEPARTED

I remember that cold winters night

when my heart felt so much fright

I didn't want us to be like this

because it will be you I will miss.

I looked deep into his eyes

while he told his famous lines

I felt every word that burst from his lips

those lips I once kissed.

I whispered his name like a prayer

I traced the lines of his eyes

that is when I said goodbye

on that night when we truly departed

I was left brokenhearted.

In silence,-

brought on the flowing of tears

Oh, how the pains

cut so near to my heart

so deep it left a mark.

Leaving me bleeding, needing

you hear with me...

Oh, how I felt the emotional pains

that gave me so much rain

lasted for very long years.
