I sat near the window in my darkened room
looking at the midnight sky while the moon
is shining so bright,
that makes me feel I'm alright,
I will get some sleep tonight.
I laid my head upon my pillow
focus on the beautiful brightness
that filled my room
I whispered to the moon
goodnight my dear friend
I will see you soon.
