Chapter Four

"Let's begin with the Grade 7. Freshmen, please fall in line" Ethan said, and then all Grade 7 fall in line.

One student steps in the platform and closes her eyes. As she closes her eyes, some digits and letters were shown on the television screens.

Her scores in other subjects are low and only one is the highest. After a minute, her picture, her name, her grade with section, and the group she belongs to appear.

"Alex Alcantara, 7-A, Science Student, 93%!" Ethan announced it to the whole university and Alex went to the group of Science Students.

They gave Alex a lab coat and a pin as a welcome gift.

Other students stepped on the platform and know their group. Next is for the transferee students.

"Transferee, please fall in line" Ethan announced. So all the transfer students fall in line.

"Oh my gosh! I'm nervous!" Minerva said to Athena as they fall in line.

"Minerva you're next" Athena whisper into Minerva's ears. Minerva is more nervous now.

Minerva step in the platform, take a deep breath, and close her eyes. Wishing that she was grouped in the PSS Girls.

Minerva's score in other subjects was shown. Mathematics-96, Science-97, and others.

"Minerva Ty, 10-A, Powerful and Smartest Student! Overall 96.38%!" Ethan announced and Minerva opens her eyes and shouts for joy.

Minerva went to the PSS Girls and they give Minerva a crown and a pin as a welcome gift and a sign that she is one of the Powerful and Smartest Student.

Next is Athena. Athena takes a deep breath as she stepped into the platform. Close her eyes just like what the previous students do and wait for the announcement.

Athena's score was shown. Mathematics-99.87, Science-100, and others. Everyone was shocked in her scores even the leader of the PSS Girls.

"Athena Bernadea, 10-A, Powerful and Smartest Student! Overall 99.67%!"

"She beat Jessa's 97.96% score!"

"She also beat Ares! He only got 99.56%"

"This is war"

"So she's the new leader?"

Athena opens her eyes and she saw all students are shocked. Athena looks on the television screen. 99.67% is her overall score.

That's my score?

She went to the PSS Girls who are also shocked. Minerva hugged Athena and congratulate her as well. They gave Athena the crown and pin.

Jessa, leader of the PSS Girls, went to Ethan and took the microphone.

"As the leader of the Powerful and Smartest Students in Girls, I, Jessa Madrigal, will pass the crown of the leader to Athena Bernadea who got the score of 99.67%" Jessa went to Athena who is shocked at the moment.

Jessa gave the Leader Crown and the white coat she's wearing to Athena and took the normal crown.

The Leader Crown is different from the normal crown in the PSS and the leader is the only one who's allowed to wear the coat. Once all the leader received his/her coat, he/she will be given a new uniform.

"Athena Bernadea, the new leader of the Powerful and Smartest Students in Girls!" Jessa announced in the whole university the new leader and everyone clapped.

"Twinny, Congrats!" Minerva greeted Athena and Athena thanked Minerva.

"Congrats" Ares went to the PSS Girls and greet Athena.

"Uhm..Thanks?"

Then the PSS Boys members greet the new PSS Girls' leader and Athena just thanked them.

After the groupings, everyone went to the dorm to get some sleep. Athena and Minerva went to the dorm together.

"I didn't know you're THAT smart!" Minerva was still shocked Athena, a transfer student a while ago, the new leader of the PSS.

"Neither do I"

They climb the stairs talking. Once they reach their floor, Minerva bid a farewell to Athena, and Athena waves her hands.

Athena went to her room and was about to open the door but the door was locked.

Ares has the keys! I should just ask him! Athena bangs her head in the door telling she was stupid that she didn't borrow the keys to Ares.

"For an intelligent student and a leader of the PSS, you shouldn't bang your head just because you think you're stupid"

Ares's voice was heard and Athena immediately moved backwards so Ares could open the door.

When the door was open, Athena seat on the couch while Ares went to his room.

Athena removes her coat with a pin and the crown in her head. "That was exhausting," Athena said to herself.

Ares came out to his room and gave Athena the spare room keys.

"Here, so you shouldn't bang your head next time," Ares said then back to his room.

Athena went to her room, lay down on the bed and sleep.

"Morning" Athena greeted Ares when she saw him in the living room reading a book with a coffee in the table.

"Hmm" Ares replied and continue reading. Athena stops walking.

Really? He's reading a book at 5:30 in the morning? She asked. She was about to say something when someone knocks on the door.

Athena went to the door and opened it. Minerva is there standing outside smiling.

"Yes?" Athena asked Minerva why she's here early in the morning.

"Don't you forget?" Minerva asked.

And she replied to her with another question.

"No. That's why I asked"

"Jessa, the former PSS leader, informed us yesterday that we're having a meeting today" Minerva explained.

Athena asked Minerva to wait for she could get her crown and coat. When she's about to go on the door, she informs Ares that she will be going and Ares?

"Hmm" Again Ares replied while reading.

"So..How was your first night in IQ and in your dorm?" Minerva asked as they go down the stairs.

"It's okay" Athena replied while holding her coat and crown.

They went to the canteen to have some breakfast. The school canteen is now serving a salad. Athena and Minerva get their breakfast and seat on the same table they seated yesterday.

"Athena! Minerva! Over here!" Someone shouted causing Athena and Minerva to stop eating.

They saw the former leader, Jessa, encouraging them to seat with them.

Athena and Minerva went to the PSS table. They were greeted by their fellow members.

"How about we introduce ourselves?" Athena said to the PSS and they all agreed.

"You all know me, I'm Jessa Madrigal, 10-B, former leader, overall score 97.96%" Jessa introduce first.

"Hi, I'm Kylie Fernandez, 9-A, member, overall score 94.78%"

All members introduced and Jessa teaches or tells everything she knows being a leader in PSS and what activities they do. Jessa asked Athena to show her schedule.

"As of now, you don't know the War in your schedule" Jessa point the War subject and Athena agree.

"That means the War zone is divided into groups. We're gonna battle by answering the exam." Jessa explained.

"For example, the Mathematics Student starts a war with the English Students they will answer their desired subject to battle with." She point out the two groups eating together.

"Only the leader of the group will start and approve or disapprove the war request. So Athena as the leader of the PSS and the Greek Goddess of War and Wisdom, you know when is the right time to start and approve a war request" Jessa tapped Athena's shoulder.

"Have you started a war?" Athena asked Jessa.

"We haven't tried starting it but we also accept and decline their request" Jessa replied and Athena just nodded.

"Oh! And the teachers can request war and the groups cannot decline no matter what!" Jessa added.

They all chat about the events here in school while eating together. They finish chatting when the bell rings. They bid a farewell and went to their respective rooms and buildings.

When Athena and Minerva were about to enter the room, someone blocked their way.

"I declare a war between the Powerful and Smartest Students in Girls!"
