Chapter Twenty-Two
"Miss President...."
"What do you say, Miss President"
Can someone tell me why I take this position?!
"The answer will be announced for tomorrow's meeting. Meeting Adjourn." I ended today's meeting.
"Miss President!" Someone called me, a Grade 7 Representative. "No need to be formal, you can just call me Athena."
It's been a week since I've been the newly elected president. Para naman ito sa Zero Punishment and thankfully I somehow change their ways nung napapunta ako doon.
"Let's go to the Zero Punishment Room." I just following the college student who's leading the way.
Zero Punishment? From the word, mukhang nakakatakot na lalo na't bakit yung ang ipinangalan doon? Punishment?! Really?!
How bad can it be?
"REVIEW THAT BRAIN OF YOURS, IF YOUR FEELING CONFIDENT THEN EXAM! NO EATING, SLEEPING, AND DRINKING UNTIL YOU GET A 50 POINTS!"
No eating? That's harsh thou. Each chair has a set of similar textbooks to review, a notebook, and a single pencil. I looked at the textbooks, it has all of our subjects but it's more on general topics than in specific grade.
Let's start with English, I guess.
Habang nagbabasa, I saw someone went to the 'proctor' and asking for the questionnaires. Before the proctor gave the papers, she warned the student.
"Aga mo ah! Sure ka na ba? Next day mo na yung second batch."
Next day? But it's already, 10:37 in the morning! Pagkukuha ka na dapat maka-50 points ka! If not, bukas ka pa ulit and there's no eating, sleeping nor drinking?!
How cruel!
After an hour, I finished reading the whole English and science textbook. Technically, I just scanned what were the topics inside lucky for us it's more on biology and reading comprehension.
"Man I'm hungry..." I heard from the back. Malapit na pa lang mag-lunch time. Do we have some breaks?
Oh! About the student who already took the test? Uulit siya at mag-iintay bukas and worse di siya aalis dito.
"Uhmm...Ate? May lunch break po ba kami?" One student asks one of the College ROTC but she shooked her head.
WHAT?! This is truly a punishment
I was about to ask the proctor for the test papers when I heard someone struggling. "Math na lang problema ko..Di ko gets itong problem na ito."
I want at least to help him, so I went to his table. "Do you want me to at least help you?"
He was shocked when I immediately went to him. "Ate Athena?!"
I smiled and asked about the problem. Mukhang gulat rin siya pero tinuro niya agad. Oh! It's trigonometry....
Kinuha ko yung papel at lapis niya at binigyan ng another example. "Do you know SOH CAH TOA?"
