⠀the next few days a little different, the couple being suddenly inseparable and always hanging onto the other. usually it was jungkook following around his boyfriend when he wasn't at school, but his house and the library was fair game for the ravenettes presence.
"okay, try again taehyung." this girl with short brown hair was ready a physics problem out of a textbook and occasionally glaring over at the youngest boy. he had tagged along today to sit with the study group and he thinks he's been behaving pretty well so far. "okay," taehyung said, taking his hand out of jungkooks and ignoring the little pout now on his face, "i always get confused with the lady bug on the spinning disk and it's angular velocity."
jungkook had zoned them all out, every word he hear at the start made no sense and he had to keep himself from bragging that he didn't have to study anymore. there was no shame in furthering your education, or you'd end up talking to a camera in your free time and the most exciting thing in your life is how many pizza rolls your friend can fit in his mouth at once. jungkook was a happy boy.
a couple hours had passed maybe, jungkook had been silent the whole time and just sat beside his boyfriend, doodling on paper and listening to music. he just wanted to be with him as much as he could.
"we can look over it more next time." jimin commented on the whole lady bug question. "my mom is making steaks tonight and i don't want to be late." he said while packing up his things. it was well into the afternoon, they started to leave around this time anyways.
jungkook pulled out a headphone seeing his friend starting to pack up. "are we done?" he asked, looking over at taehyung and abandoning his doodle of jack sparrow.
"yes, we are." the girl with short hair said, standing up abruptly and taking her things before leaving just as quick.
"she seems sweet." jungkook smiled, seeing her hair bounce with each bratty step away from the table.
jimin giggled and tugged on his backpack, "she has a thing for taehyung." he nudged the brunette once mentioning him, wiggling his eyebrows as well.
"oh really?" jungkook said, a playful grin was on his face as he watched the older boy shake his head and grab his own things. "is my boyfriend just out here stealing hearts?"
"shut up." taehyung pushed his boyfriend in embarrassment and followed jimin, trying to ignore the youngest who was now teasing him all the way out to the jeep.
they all climbed in and jungkook was still not letting up, "do you have a thing for brunettes? i think i need to dye my hair, what do you say jimin?" he looked through the review mirror at the grinning boy sitting in the back seat, crescent eyes and pink lips stretched wide. "don't stop at brown, go to blonde too." he said.
"i like the way you think." jungkook said. this time he was looking at his boyfriend in the passengers seat. taehyung was sitting there with his eyes closed and head resting against the glass of the window, the small smile on his face giving away that he wasn't actually bothered by it all. "maybe tokyo isn't far away enough from you two clowns." he said.
there was silence, and his eyes opened quickly to look at the two boys. "too soon?" taehyung wondering if jokes now should be held back.
"nah," jungkook said, pulling out into the street, "we have a lot of shopping to do for you anyways." he brought up a new topic. it was also part of his soon to be graduation gift for his boyfriend, a bunch of new fancy stuff for the boys apartment.
they were relatively quiet the rest of the way back to the youngest apartment, only the radio playing softly on the background and occasionally jungkooks pretty voice harmonizing along. they all decided it was time for a break, no studying and no filming and just some time together as friends. "you got the movie right?" jimin asked as they got out of the jeep and started to head up to the apartment.
"of course, i know it's your favorite." jungkook said, unlocking the door and pushing it open to let the boys in, "it's on the coffee table."
that's all he needed to say before the shorter boy went running in and stripped himself of shoes, backpack, and jacket on the way. "i'm going to sing every single song." jimin said, holding the aladdin dvd and already making himself comfortable on the couch.
"i'm sure you are." taehyung said. he had also dropped his backpack near the door and taken his shoes off, ready to sit and relax and think about nothing other than disney. of course, there was a little detour to his boyfriends room to steal some of his clothes so he was more comfy.
"so jimin, did you hear back from any colleges?" jungkook asked his best friend, wondering where his dreams were taking him, and about how far away that would be.
the blonde shrugged and set the dvd down again. he knew to tread lightly in these waters, there was a fragile boy at stake here — even though the younger would never admit it. "yeah, i heard back from a few, some here in seoul and even one back home in busan." he said, "i'm not really committed yet to a particular one."
"congrats chim." jungkook smiled. he was in the kitchen grabbing snacks, a few bowls of chips and cans of soda since alcohol was banned until taehyung decided his boyfriend has had enough time away from it. "i still need ideas for a graduation gift for you, let me know if you want anything specific."
"no worries," jimin said, "you're always creative, i like surprises from you."
"thanks." he smiled, a genuine one. if he could be proud of one personal thing it would definitely have to be his creativity, thankfully since it allowed him to make videos which are currently his only source of income for the next forever years.
jimin just nodded and came to help with the snacks, grabbing two bowls before gently nudging his friend, "let's not talk about school tonight." he said.
he seemed to get the message, nodding as well and following the blonde back to the couch just as taehyung joined them in a pair of jungkooks sweatpants and hoodie. "looking good." the younger said, kissing the boys cheek.
"i do pull them off don't i?" taehyung smiled while striking a quick pose. the blush on his cheeks seemed to always be there, along with that pretty smile and soft hair falling into his eyes. there wasn't a single flaw that jungkook could point out, he simply adored him.
