"Where were you two today?" The blonde man asks, his blue eyes baring holes into the young girl's head.
"W-we just went swimming, and lost track of time Daddy, I'm sorry it won't happen again," The small girl appologizes.
"You lost track of time.." His trails off as he walks from the entry way to the dinning and kitchen room. The girl follows the tall, well built ex quatrer back. He stops once he gets to the kitchen, clean dishes still layed out from this morning. "You lost track of time, playing with some kids! Meanwhile I was at work providing for you ungrateful brat!" The man picks up a plate she had washed early in the day. His arm reals back before he throws it at his daughter, the pink haired girl drops in fear.
"I'm sorry daddy please stop!" She pleads with her father, crying from the fear washing over her.
"Don't tell me what to do, you think you have the right to tell me what to do!?" The man screams again, throwing multiple dishes from plates, to bowls, forks , knives, anything the man could get his hand on.
Stanley had just pulled up his bike to the Backer's residence, worried for the girl who had suddenly vanished without any explanation. The boy could hear the yelling, thuds, and shattering of glass from the street of the girl's home. The young boy was terrfied for what was going on inside the house. Shocked the boy stood there not knowing what to do for a solid ten minutes. All at once the white door of the house slammed open.
The curly haired boy ran with his bike, as he darted to some near by bushes. Peeking out he saw the man his father had asked to help officiate his Bar Mitzvah, go straight to his car and drive off going widly fast for a side street. After staying there for three minutes, knowing the man would not come back anytime soon. He wanted to knock on the door, wanted see if everyone was okay, but he was too scared to go up to the door, instead he left on his bike. Constantly he gazed over his shoulder, the thought of wether the two kids which reside in the house were okay or not.
The pink haired girl softly cried as she picked up the shattered peiced of glass, as she cleaned up. The ragged shards would tear her flesh, as the small peices cut into her hand. Luckily her younger brother did not come out his room during the full twenty minute scene that was occuring.
When the girl had finished cleaning, including sweeping, and mopping. The mopping mainly being her own drops of blood that had fallen, from her scrapped hands, and a large cut on her cheek that was caused by a large shard that had rickishade off the ground and to her cheek as she was cowering on the ground.
The young woman walked carefully into the bathroom, trying not to get blood on where she was walking. Looking into the mirror once she entered and locked the bathroom door. Her pink hair a mess, tear stains falling down from her eyes, the girl's right cheek held a large gash starting from a couple centameters away from the end of her mouth, ending one inch away from the end of her eye. Her bloody hands reach up to the back of her hair, feeling her scalp and patches of small amounts of hair in a three inch radius. Silent tears fall from her eyes, stinging her raw flesh from her scare, as she takes off her dress reaveling a bruise starting from her left shoulder to her left arm's elbow.
The girl decided to take a shower, in order to wash up her body, the different cuts from her cheek, to the ones that castcade down her legs from the broken dishes. As the hot water flooded over her, the girl tried not to scream out as the water and soap seeped deep inside of her. A knock at the door caused her to give out a little gasp.
"Keke, where did daddy go?" James called from the other side of the door.
She thought for a moment then asnwered, "H-He had a l-last minute buisness trip bub!" haistly she came up with a lie.
"Oh okay, he didn't even say goodbye though," The boy sounded defeated, ghe sound in his voice caused the girl's to heart break as she heared the boy she had cared for worry, and almost cry for such a man.
"H-he said he loves you, a-and he's sorry he didn't get a chance to say bye, but he'll make it up to you, when he gets back!" again the girl called out to the younger boy.
"Oh okay!" After the happy response she heard footsteps walk away from the door, and soon the television in the fron of their house switch on, signalling he was watching PBS Kids.
The poor girl cried quietly not wanting to be heared from anyone, as she quietly fell to the shower's ground. Blood mixing with the untainted crystal water, and down the drain. Crying and finsihing her shower, she got out, dried herself off, before patching up herself up, before she walked out, putting on a pair of loose sweatpants, and large turtleneck sweater, in order to hide everything.
"H-hey bub, you hungry?" The girl souded fine. a little horse, the blonde assumed it was because of the steam from the shower.
"Yeah, what's for dinner tonight?" He hapily asked as he bounced to the kitchen. Smiling she heated up some leftovers from preivous nights.
The late evening turned to night after the food was eaten, and she had put her little brother to bed, she was finally able to lay on her bed. The minutes turned into late hours of night as she cried, from the events that had happened this evening. Slowly she fell asleep tear stained face and a pillow to match.
