"Stop here," the girl pointed to a light blue house, where her brother was playing at.
"Got it Sugar Tits," Richie said pulling off to the side of the street, infront of the house. Getting off of the bike, she knocked on the door.
"Ahh Kelsey you're here," the mother of her brother's friend said as she opened the door seeing the girl standing on her balcony.
"James your sister's here!" The mom called.
"So how is you're dad doing, James told us he had gone on an trip?" She asks looking to me.
"Yeah, it's some training they have for some down at the station," quickly she lied, nodding at her explanation.
"Oh that makes sense, well I hope he finishes up soon. Young kids like yourselves shouldn't alone for too long," the elder woman expressed as James comes, squeezing inbetween the lady and the door.
"Keke!" The little boy exclaimed, running, giving his sister a hug on the waist.
"Hey bub, say thank you to Mrs.Christ," the young lady spoke, petting the boy's back.
He turned around and smiles to the older lady. "Thank you, Mrs.Christ!"
The brown haired lady smiled, "You're welcome, you two have a good night," she closed the door, and the girl took her little brother's hand as they walk down the sidewalk and to the boy that was waiting.
"Why you wearing that weird shirt?" The boy asked as they stopped infront of the Tozier boy.
"Hey it's not weird, it's fashion young one," Richie tried speaking in an English accent, pretending to adust his non existent collar.
"What he doing here?" James blanks, pointing to the older boy, as he looks to his older sister. The quick boy looked at the smaller boy with his mouth gaped.
"James that's rude, he um-" she paused for a moment, noticing she doesn't know what he actually is doing with her. "-he's having dinner with us," looking to the bug eyed boy, nodding hoping he'd agree.
"Yeah come on little guy, don't you want to ride on the fastest bike in Derry?" Richie smirked to the boy. Gasping the blonde smiles up to him, giving the older boy a small bounce.
"Yes, please!" The boy yelled excited, looking to the bug eyed boy, in wonder.
"Kelse?" Richie looked to the girl, who was taller cause of the lip she was on, from the side walk.
"Please Keke!" The young boy begged, using puppy dog eyes, he knew his older sister couldn't say no to.
Gazing down to his blue eyes, she gave a soft giggle before nodding. "Sure bud,-" she took his small backpack that was heavier than it was when she set him to his friends. "you can take him up and down the street, is that alright, Richie?" She asked, as she picked up the boy setting him where she usually sat.
"No problem toots," he winked, the girl gave a soft giggle in reaction, hiding half of her face as she could feel the slightest bit of an blush arising.
"I'll start dinner, and when you two are done, you can just come and eat," smiling and nodding at her explanation.
"Yay, lets go Richie!" The young boy bounced, excited for his ride. The girl watched happily, as she watched the two boys ride off.
She stood there watching the two, smiling bigger than she realised.
The young girl wondered if this is what her mother would have felt, if she was still here. If her father would have been the one in Richie's place? She wondered if this was how it looked liked when James was taught how to ride a bike from their dad? Was this what it looked like if she were able to watch her brother, and father ride the old small bike when he first started riding?
