Part nine

Y/n's pov

We made our way toward the Black Bay, Felix carrying me. The sun started to go down and everyone was starting to feel hungry, so we decided to set up camp for the night. Since cup, mug, and I no longer had tents because my bag was destroyed, we had to share. Surprisingly, bendy and Boris had extra tents, mugs and Cala decided to share one, Felix got his own tent, bendy and Boris shared a tent and cuphead shared with jackpot. I then asked "wait, where am I gonna sleep?". Felix said "don't worry, You can sleep in my tent. I'm sure it's big enough for the both of us". I said "umm, are you sure? I feel like I've bothered you enough with you carrying me and all" kinda unsure if I should really sleep in my idols tent. Felix insisted though, and even decided to set up a screen as to give each other privacy. Boris brought out a bunch of hot dogs, hot dog buns, ketchup, and mustard. Bendy looked to his brother and said "looks like we're gonna need a bonfire for that". Mugs piped up at the word "bonfire" and instantly asked "ooh, can we make some s'mores?". I sighed and said "I'm so sorry mugs, but all of our supplies got destroyed by the same boulder spider that made my leg like this. Bits and pieces of our things we're all over the floor. Sorry I couldn't save any of it". Mugs looked sad for a sec, probably because of the lack of s'mores and belongings, but pat my shoulder and said "it's alright, we can always buy some stuff at the next town". Felix set me down in front of where the bonfire is gonna be and handed me a lighter and said "I'm gonna go look for some fire wood. Be back in a bit". And walked off. I started looking around for some twigs for the starting kindle. Once the area around me was cleared of any twigs, I lied down on the ground and stared blankly at the sky. Usually I'd be reading my book around this time, but I no longer had it, so I was left with an unfinished story plot in my head. I kept thinking of different ways in which the story would end, resulting in me mumbling to myself about the book. I was cut off when I heard Felix come back with a lot of wood. I was pretty impressed, but shoved it aside and got to making the fire. The kindling was already put down, I stripped the bark off of some of Felix's logs so the flame could grow, and then added the bigger logs. Before anyone knew it, I had a bonfire going. Bendy walked over and said "wow, that was quick". I put my hands on my hips and said "why thank you", feeling proud in my fire making abilities. Cuphead grabbed a few sticks and had me strip the bark off of them or clean them so the hot dogs wouldn't get dirty or anything. After stripping the bark off of seven logs, I finally stopped to roast a hot dog. Once I felt my hot dog was good enough, I pulled my stick away from the fire and asked for a hot dog bun. Mugs got up and grabbed a hot dog bun and some Ketchup/mustard (whichever you prefer more), and walked back to me. I put my hot dog together, applied the condiment, and dug in. As I felt around my pockets, I felt something I didn't know I could forget was in my pocket. My kalimba. Cuphead noticed the kalimba and said "finally memorized that song huh?". All of the attention was in me now, and bendy said "hey, I didn't know you played an instrument!". I blushed and looked away as everyone seemed to gather 'round. I sighed and said "ok fine, I'll play it". (Play song)

Everyone lightly tapped or swayed to the beat, as I played, and clapped for me after the song was over. I bowed as much as I could since I was sitting down, accepting the applause. I saw bendy blush a bit, and kinda thought it was cute. Wait what? Cute?! I mean, I don't really know how I feel about him. My face heated up a lot and decided it was time to head to bed. Everyone agreed that it was late and also got ready for bed. I think I was one of the first ones asleep, but I wasn't entirely sure. I was woken up though, by none other than Felix. He was talking to himself about bendy's other form. I quietly ask "Felix?", resulting in Felix quietly saying "oh my I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to wake you". I said "it's ok, anyway I heard you mumbling about bendy's other form". Felix nodded, seeming troubled. I said "ya know, I actually once did quite a bit of research on shapeshifting things and people. And one of the things I found out, is that demons, like our pal bendy, when under extreme levels of stress or will to do something when their in enough pain, they can transform. He must've had an ink attack, but since he wanted to help everyone so much that he transformed into that other form. Unfortunately though, usually demons don't remember their first few transformations. It can be a really helpful tool though if bendy manages to get the hang of it". Felix looked at me, then at the floor before saying "wow". I said "yeah, demons aren't a force to be reckoned with". There was an awkward silence between us, but I broke it and said "I hope that helped answer your question Felix, good night". Felix nodded and lied back down, and I did the same. After a few minutes of lying there, my leg decided to be an a** hole and flare up in pain. I held my breath as to not make a noice as I winced in pain, now gripping my leg. I could feel some of the gash start to close up, but did it seriously have to be this painful every time?! After the pain died down a bit, I went back to sleep.
