Part sixteen

3rd pov

After a few days of travel, the gang made it back to toonsvile. Evidently, word had spread of us fixing the ink machine, so people were coming up to them and thanking them, hugging them and congratulating them for their heroism. Y/n was really awkward about it, not liking all of the attention she got. Y/n held onto figaro/jackpot in order to distract herself from the attention, but then someone yelled "figaro!" From off in the distance, Mickey Mouse ran toward y/n. Cuphead and y/n turned around to see Mickey Mouse running towards them. Once Mickey reached y/n, he took figaro out of her arms and said "oh goodness! I thought we'd never find you!". Y/n was sad to see figaro go, but asked "oh, so jackpot is your cat huh?". Mickey asked "jackpot?", y/n said "yeah, jackpot was the nickname my bro and I gave him while we took care of him". It was at that moment Mickey was how attached y/n and cuphead had gotten to figaro. Mickey said "actually, figaro isn't mine, he belongs to my friend Minnie. I'll take you two to her, follow me". Mickey then led y/n and cup to Minnie's place, where a depressed Minnie and daisy were waiting for any news on figero. Mickey knocked on their door, and Minnie answered. When she saw her cat perfectly fine, she cried "figaro! Oh I missed you so much!". Minnie then picked up figaro and hugged him. Minnie then turned to Mickey and said "oh mickey, thank you so much for finding figaro for me", and hugged Mickey. Mickey blushed and returned the hug, saying "it was no problem m-Minnie. Actually, there's two kind people found figaro and took care of him until I found them". Minnie let go of the hug and looked past Mickey to see two people with cups for heads, one male, one female. Y/n waved awkwardly. Minnie walked past Mickey and grabbed y/n and cupheads hands before saying "thank you so much for taking care of my figaro. I'm glad that he was in good hands while he was lost". Y/n gave a small smile and said "it was no problem". Cuphead said "c'mon y/n, the group is probably wondering where we are", gently putting his hand on y/n's shoulder. Y/n nodded and waved goodbye before turning around and walking away. Figaro, who was next to Mickey, started walking towards cuphead and y/n. Figaro then ran towards cup and y/n, and pawed at their legs. Cuphead and y/n stopped and looked down at figaro. Y/n picked up figaro and handed figaro to Minnie. Y/n then pet figaro a head and said "minnie will take good care of you figaro, you have to stay with her now. Ok? We'll stop by to see you, I promise". Figaro purred in Minnie's arms, as y/n was pulled away by cuphead.

Y/n's pov

After saying goodbye to figaro, we met back up with the gang. We then continued to go through town. I was walking by Felix and bendy, just kinda following them. Then a cat yelled "Felix!", and ran toward Felix. Felix yelled "Sheba!" In return and they practically tackle hugged each other. It was cute. Bendy and I did share a confused glance though. Sheba started talking to felix, saying stuff about how it was good to see him again and that they needed to catch up on stuff. Felix was about to go with Sheba, until he turned around and said "hey guys?". Everyone turned their attention to felix. Felix asked "is it ok with you guys if I write my new book about this adventure?". I internally started fangirling, but nodded and said "absolutely". Everyone else nodded and said "yes" or "sure". Felix smiled and said "thanks, see you later then", before walking off. Leaving cup, mug, Cala, bendy, Boris, and I standing there, not knowing what to do. Bendy then asked "wanna hang out at the bar?", to which all of us said yes, because there was literally nothing else to do. So we walked into the bar and sat down at a booth. We were all given menus, and then sat in silence. Cala Maria then said "hey, uhhh... how about a game of twenty questions?". Bendy shrugged and said "sure. Why not", and then we all thought of questions. Bendy piped up and asked "ok, I have a question for you three", pointing to cup, mug and I. Cuphead and I shrugged and I said "fire away". Bendy asked "ok, so what exactly inside your heads?". Cup and mug looked to me for an answer, to which I sighed and said "although the jello like liquid that fills our heads may seem like just any other drink, it's actually the very essence of our souls. It's surrounded in an expendable liquid though, so that's pretty nifty". I then asked "ok, so bendy and Boris, if you guys are mechanics, do you own a shop of some sort where people come in with broken things and pay to get them fixed, or did you earn a living doing something else?". Bendy said "well, we didn't own a shop or anything, but we did go around playing music as street performers for a period of time". Boris asked mugman "what about you guys? What did you guys do for a living?". Mug answered "well, we worked at our fathers casino for a period of time before the whole gambling incident. We actually quit that job before we went to the devils casino". Bendy asked "why'd you quit your job at that casino?" I said "well, to put it simply, I was getting sexually harassed almost every day". Boris said "sorry that happened to you". I said "it's ok Boris-", bendy slammed his hands on the table, and said "no, it's not ok! You don't deserve to be treated like that!". I raised my hands up and said "woah! bendy calm down. We don't want to make a scene", bendy seemed to calm down, but he still seemed mad. I said "I mean hey, at least it isn't happening anymore right? That's always a good thing". Bendy's mood didn't seem to lift at all, but he asked "so it that why you always flinched at physical contact, even from your own siblings?". My once cheery attitude changed into one that is more timid, shy, and sad. My jello hair covered my right eye as I nodded. Bendy seemed beyond pissed, and if glares could murder, the table would be nothing but a pile of splinters and wood chips. The waiter then showed up and asked "are you guys ready to order?". Mugman said "Ill take a hot chocolate, and a blueberry muffin", Cuphead said "I'll have a late and a bagel with cream cheese". I said "I'll have a mint hot chocolate, and blueberry muffin". Bendy said "I'll just have a late". Boris said "I'll also take a hot chocolate and a blueberry muffin please". Cala Maria said "I'll have a water and blueberry muffin". The waiter then finishes writing on his tiny clipboard and walks off. There was an awkward silence so thick you could cut it wit a knife. I felt really guilty about making bendy mad, and I wanted to do something to help, but nothing seemed to work. I know he's mad about me getting sexually harassed, and I think it's nice that he cares so much, but I think it's getting to him.
