Part four

Y/n's pov

I looked down at my book, then back up to Felix, then back down at my book, then back up to Felix. My jaw dropped, I began to stammer my words as I said "w-wait, that means.... y-y-you're t-the author of this m-masterpiece?!". Felix nodded and stuck out his hand for me to shake, and I happily accepted. I said "my name is y/n, the one with a cigarette in his mouth is my brother, cuphead, and the one with the blue scarf is my brother, mugman". I heard cuphead murmur something behind me, as well as mugman, but I didn't care about that right now. My favorite author was standing right in front of me! And he shook my hand! I then heard Boris say "I guess now we have two fangirls". Boris' comment was ignored by everyone. Bendy came up to me and said "I didn't know you like Felix's books?". I said "well, it's hard not to when you read them. The plot, the detail, everything is just so amazing". Boris has bendy go get his bag, and while he did, I saw Boris whisper something into Felix's ear. Given felix's facial reaction, I can only imagine that he told him about our ink illnesses. The look of pity Felix gave me was just more proof to my guess. I went back over to cup and mug, to which cup ruffled my hair and said "only a bookworm like you would nerd out over someone like that". I swat cups hand away put down the backpack, making sure we have everything. Sleeping bags, check, lighters, check, cooking supplies, check, clothes, check, food, check, and toiletries, check. We got everything. We then got out of town and started traveling up mount bulk. It was really quite to whole way, until Felix passed us all apples. It seems bendy started having and ink attack and asked Felix for a break. I was about to bite into my apple, when I felt my head starting to overflow again, so I just ran toward where bendy and Boris went and said "I'll come too! wait up!". Cup and mug didn't try to stop me, so I was just sitting up against some rocks while I started to spit up ink as it also seemed to overflow out of my head and cover me entirely I tried to wipe off the ink on my own, but it eventually became too much to handle, as I began to feel weak. No. I can't give up! I gotta clean up this mess, and help bendy. The ink began to slow to a stop, and I was able to finally wipe it all off and get it done I was getting the last of it when I saw Felix come by. I hurried to clean the rest of the ink up and play it off like nothing happened Felix asked about bendy, which kinda hurt a bit, but I just said "oh he's probably with Boris around this rock. I can check on him for ya". Felix said "go right ahead, I'll just follow you". I peeked around the corner to see a shirtless bendy facing away from me and a Boris who stared back at me. I just waved and said "hi" as Felix peeked over my shoulder. Boris whispered guys, we'll be with you soon, please leave before bendy-" Boris was cut off by bendy practically yelling "m-mister Felix! Y-y/n! What are you two doing here?". "Sees you" Boris continued. Felix put his hands up and said "we just wanted to check on you guys. Seems like you're just fine, heh". Boris walked over to felix and said "it's ok sir, no need to hide things from each other. We're a team bendy, I already told him about yours and y/n's condition". Felix and I looked at the ground, but I really felt guilty for some reason. I watched as bendy got really really flustered. It almost looked like his face was glowing. I walked over to bendy and said "no need to be embarrassed bendy, besides, you're not alone. You have me, your bro, Felix, heck even cup and mug if you think about it". Felix nodded and wiped bendy's tears from his eyes and said "you shouldn't be embarrassed over such a thing. You didn't choose this upon yourself". Bendy stammered "it's just that your my..... and I...". Felix grabbed bendy's shoulders and said "and what's all this nonsense about death? You'll be fine! We have each other, and we'll save everyone, including you, and y/n. Now enough crying and show me that smile". Bendy grinned and Felix said "atta boy! Off you go, get dressed quick". Bendy went off to go get dressed and Boris thanked Felix for helping. Seeing as I'm no longer needed, I just walked back to cup and mug to see what they're up to. When I saw them, I said "they'll be out soon, just give them a minute" and sat down with them. Eventually Felix, bendy and Boris came back. To which cuphead said "took ya long enough". Felix just said "well, we're here now". Mugman noticed bendy on Felix and said "hey! We doing a piggy back race? I'm in!". Then mug proceeded to slam Boris onto his back and take off, Felix and bendy in hot pursuit. Boris was screaming, and cup just looked at them with the facial expression of "this is my life now?". Then, I felt something pat my leg. I looked down to see a tiny black and white cat with a collar on. I picked it up, and it turns out that his name is figaro. Huh, weird name for a cat. I showed figaro to cuphead but he just slammed me onto his back and made a mad dash for the rest of the gang. Was hanging onto figaro with one hand and cuphead with the other, yelling the entire way. When cup head turned around and stopped, my grip on him was lost and I was coming toward the ground fast I let out a yelp as I tried to slow my descent by using my legs, which worked a little bit. Regardless, I still hit the ground. Luckily, nothing broke or chipped, but I was still in pain. Mugman set Boris down and ran over to check on me, causing cuphead to look behind him and see what he did. Cuphead immediately apologized and helped me up. I pulled figaro out from my arms and said "oh, and we found this cat named figaro". "Weird name for a cat", cuphead commented. Cuphead took figaro from my hands and said "well, since you all have your partners, so this will be ours and his name is jackpot". Bendy said "you can't do that dumb*ss it ain't yours". I nodded and took figaro back from cuphead before saying "yeah, cup. We can just be figaro's temporary care takers, and his nickname can be jackpot. But we're gonna have to say goodbye to it once we find it's owner". Cuphead sighed, but agreed with me. So now jackpot has joined the team. Boris got off of mug and said "whatever, we're far enough from the village anyways. Let's just find what we're looking for and then we can return that thing back to its owner". Boris then turned to mugs and said "and you! You'll pay for this!", while mug looked away grinning to himself.
