Part fourteen

Y/n's pov

After what seemed like hours of fighting, the robot finally went down, and we retrieved another ink machine piece. We did this same process time and time again, and eventually, we had all of the ink machine pieces. At this point both bendy's and my ink attacks were twice a day, and fairly long, like, around 15-25 minutes. Since bendy and Boris are the mechanics, they carried all of the parts to the ink machine. Also, mugs and Cala Maria are now a couple and I ship it, hard. Bendy and I have grown really close too, cuphead practically gave up on trying to stop me from getting close to the ink bros. In fact, he actually got pretty close to bendy himself. He would never straight up admit it though. I managed to finish my book, to which bendy and I fanboyed/ fangirled over it. Felix even signed my book! I couldn't believe it! I hugged Felix while saying "thank you" a lot of times. My leg even healed all the way, so I was walking with no crutches. We did keep the crutches in case any of us got hurt again. As we approached the abandoned building the ink machine was in, an angel stopped us and said "state your purpose". Bendy said "we're here to fix the ink machine". The angel said "very well" and let us all pass. We were led into a room with a huge machine (you've all probably seen the ink machine before). Bendy and Boris dropped their bag and grabbed their tools and put their goggles on before inspecting the machine. I tried to help in any way I could, which was mainly fetching whatever tool they needed. Soon enough, bendy and Boris has all of the pieces secured in place, and the machine was working. Bendy went in first, and the doors closed behind him. There was a red light that turned on as the machine whirred to life. The hose in the back of the machine started spewing ink, and I began to worry for bendy. After about five minutes or so, the machine stopped and the doors opened to reveal a perfectly fine bendy. Boris asked "did it work?", to which bendy nodded. Everyone's eyes lit up and went in for a group hug around bendy, all of us saying things like "so glad you're ok" and stuff like that. Bendy said "yup, but we still got one more soul to cure", looking at me. I got nervous, but I trusted bendy. Bendy guides me into the machine, reassuring me that everything will be ok. I walked into the machine, and the door closed behind me. I saw a scanner turn on and scan me up and down. I then felt weak as my head began to overflow with ink once again. I coughed up ink, and tubes came toward me. As the tubes made contact with me, it seemed to suck up all of the ink I was creating, and then some. As this all happened, I felt my strength return to me. Even after the ink attack, the machine was still sucking out ink from my body. Once the machine was done, the tubes retracted, and I was scanned again. This time, I was let out of the machine. The door opened and I walked out, only to be embraced by everyone in a group hug. Once the group hug broke, a bat came into the building. The bat was holding a letter that had an all too familiar seal on it. The bat dropped the letter at our feet and flew off. I picked up the letter and read out loud "Dear Cuphead, Mugman, and Y/n. You dared to disobey me, you refused to do the one thing you were told to do. Now you must pay your end of the deal". Cup, mug, and I shared scared glances at each other. I sighed and said "welp, we had this coming. Come on, we should go and get this over with". Cup, mug, and I were about to walk out when Felix grabbed us and asked "where are you three going?". I looked at cuphead with a look that asked "should we tell them?". Cuphead nodded, and I nodded back. Mug just stood there, looking guilty. I said "I guess we need to explain ourselves. This is gonna be a bit to take in so you might want to sit down". Everyone sat down, even us. I said "so, a while back, cup, mug, and I were messing around in the woods. Playing tag, hide and seek, climbing trees, you name it. We evidently wandered too far into the forest though, cause we found ourselves at the devils casino. We were all curious, so we went in". Cuphead said "as we wandered around, I decided to actually start gambling. Heck, I even won a few rounds of poker. I was making good cash this way too". I said "yup, and mugs and I watched our brother do his magic, winning game after game. That is until the stakes were raised. If we lost, we'd give up our souls. If we won, we'd get all of the loot in the casino. Cuphead took the deal without a second thought, and mugs and I watched in horror as cuphead rolled the dice and got snake eyes. The person cup was up against, was none other than the devil himself. Naturally, we all begged for our lives. The devil thought about it, and said "here's the deal, either you all give me your souls, or the ink illness gets spread across the world once again". Since we're all still here, you can tell which option we took. We went home after that, not knowing what to think. I didn't even know what to do with myself honestly. After around a month or two, the devil summoned us back to his office, and told us about you and your mission. The devil wanted our punishment to be permanent, so he sent us to kill you, or else we die instead". There was a mix of shock, horror, and anger on their faces. Bendy got up and yelled "so it was you guys who caused all of this?! Why did you hide this?! How are we supposed to trust you guys after hearing that?!". I flinched at his words as tears started to make their way into my eyes. Mugman said "that's why we went on this adventure with you guys. To fix the mistake we made. I guess we were too late". We all got up and started walking toward the casino.

3rd person pov

Y/n, cuphead, and mugman all walked out of the building that held the ink machine. Felix, Boris, bendy, and Cala Maria watched as they left. Cala Maria was sad that mugman didn't take her with him, though it was understandable why he left her behind. Felix felt bad for the cup trio, especially since they're probably going to die because they helped cure the disease they started. Boris didn't know what to think, and bendy felt betrayed. It was hard for him to accept that his crush, and his friend were the cause of the ink illness spreading for the second time. Cala Maria was on the verge of tears, before saying "they didn't even say goodbye". Meanwhile with the cup siblings, y/n quietly said "we didn't even get to say goodbye", as tears streamed down her face. Mugs noticed this and started crying silently too. Meanwhile with the ink bros, Felix was thinking hard about everything the cup siblings had said. Felix believed that there had to be a solution. There just had to be.
