Part thirteen

Y/n's pov

I woke up to mugs gently shaking me saying "time to get up y/n". I swatted his hands away and "I'm up, I'm up". I sat up and grabbed my crutches, and my clothes before going to the bathroom to change and shower. Once I was done getting ready, I packed up and made my way down to the hotel lobby for breakfast. Everyone else was already packed up and finishing their breakfast, it makes sense though, given I probably stayed up the latest. I made myself some cereal, and was about to go to a table when I realized that I couldn't walk with crutches and carry cereal at the same time. Bendy, who had already finished his breakfast, then grabbed the bowl and led me towards the table everyone was at. Bendy set my bowl of cereal down on the table, and I said "thanks" before sitting down on the chair and setting my crutches off to the side. I tried to eat my cereal quickly, but it's hard to do that without making a mess. Anyway, I soon finish my cereal, and we all leave. Just about a minute after we leave the hotel, bendy has an ink attack. Felix, Boris and I all help get the ink off of him, and Boris gives bendy some tablets. After bendy swallows the tablets, the ink begins to slow to a stop. I continue to wipe off bendy's face, until there is no ink left. Since bendy wasn't fit to walk anymore, being weak from the ink attack and all, he got to ride in the wagon with Cala Maria for a while. As Boris placed bendy in the wagon, I offered a fist bump and said "welcome to the band wagon". Bendy fist bumped me and we continued on our journey. We soon found our way out of town, and we set course for the next town on the way toward black bay. I then remembered a rumor I heard about black bay, so I said "ya know, rumor has it that black bay is called black bay because the water there turned black from people polluting it". Cala Maria shivered at the thought, and the mood seemed to darken a little. I continued "but that's not all, apparently, due to an economy crash or something, the factories that polluted the water shut down years ago. As the years went by, the pollution washed out of the water, and turned the sand around it black. Earning itself the name black bay". Felix asked "how do you know these things y/n?", I shrugged and said "hey, when you ever drop on almost every conversation you hear, you learn a thing or two". Cup walked over to me and said "I swear, you are too nerdy for your own good". Just then, two glass containers came down, trapping cuphead and I individually in our own container. As I move to try to break the glass and escape, a floor appears beneath my feet. The same seems to happen to cuphead. Mug seemed to shout something, but I couldn't hear him through the glass. Mug then tried to shoot the capsules cup and I were trapped in, but the blast just bounced right off like a pin ball. The capsules cup and I were in we're then plugged into a robot of some kind.

3rd pov

As cuphead and y/n were captured in glass capsules, everyone called out their names. Mugs yelled "give my family back!", shooting at the capsules, only for the blast to bounce right off. Felix, bendy, and Boris were frozen, not knowing what to do. Cala Maria just ducked down into her little wagon. Boris looked at his map, and then back at the robot and said "found the piece", and pointed to the giant bolt holding the robots jaw. Bendy deadpanned and said "you gotta be kidding me". On top of the robot was a scientist, with purple hair, a lab coat, and glasses. The scientist said "ooh goodie! Two new test subjects! You're life forces are strong, let's use that!" The capsules started to glow green, and cuphead and y/n both felt pain as what seemed like electricity coursed through their bodies. Cuphead screamed, while y/n stood there, hiding the pain she felt as much as she could, refusing to give into it. Cuphead however, quickly fell to his hands and knees. Felix took his magic bag and turned it into a grappling hook. Felix took the grappling hook, and shot it at cupheads capsule. This time, the glass broke, and cuphead quickly grabbed the rope and slid safely to the ground. All of the sudden, the amount of pain y/n was in, increased. Her head began to overflow with ink again, this time looking like a fountain of ink. Y/n fell to the ground as her ink began to fill up the caplule. Y/n tried to keep ink out of her airways, but her attempts were futile. Felix noticed this and as cuphead landed, Felix dislodged the grappling hook from cupheads capsule, and shot it at y/n's capsule. The glass broke on the capsule and ink spilled everywhere. Everyone was alarmed at the abnormally large amounts of ink, but y/n just secured the hook into some stable glass, and used her crutches to slide down the rope faster. The scientist noticed this and made the robot attempt to grab y/n. It failed, but ended up swatting her off the rope. Mug ran to catch y/n, who was now falling like an inky comet. Mugs caught her, but the impact sent him to the ground with an "oof". Y/n seemed unconscious, but just had the wind knocked out of her. So y/n was trying to breathe, while mugman wipes his hand over her ink covered face. Eventually, y/n got a few strangled gasps in, and her breathing steadily improved from there. Mugman kept cleaning the ink off of his sister, and everyone else was attacking the robot. Once y/n had enough air in her lungs to speak, she said "go help fight mugs, our shots seem to be the only thing that causes a lot of damage. I'll be fine, heck I could probably help if you could get me a bit closer". Mug agreed and picked up y/n, found her crutches, and got her to a wooded area where she could hide. Y/n positioned herself and started shooting, however, since she was still under the ink attacks effects, her shots were black instead of white and f/c. It still seemed to do damage though, and that's what counted.
