Part twentytwo

3rd pov

As bendy made his way to the circus tent, he saw that the others were starting to get up and around. He didn't even try to be stealthy, as he went to y/n's room. Mickey saw him though and asked "hey bendy, do you know where everyone else is?". Bendy looked around and said "yes, but can we please discuss this elsewhere?". Mickey said "of course", and followed bendy into y/n's room. Bendy grabbed y/n's favorite books, mainly one made by Felix, and said "I don't know how much you already know about the quest we had before joining your circus, but the cup siblings had a fight with king dice, the devils right hand man, and won. Well apparently the devil didn't like that, because he managed to get the cup siblings up at the same time last night, guided them all to his casino, and had a battle in hell. Just before they defeated the devil however, he managed to get one last and final hit on y/n, flinging her into a wall. Everyone is currently at the hospital, visiting y/n". Bendy was about to walk back to the hospital when Mickey grabbed his shoulder and said "please take me back with you". Bendy said "I would, but the visitor limit is five people per patient. Plus it's already getting a bit crowded in there". Mickey looked away and nodded, letting go of bendy. Mickey said "see you later then". Bendy nodded and jogged back to the hospital. Meanwhile, y/n and the others were talking about nothing in particular. Cuphead said "I wonder what's taking bendy so long. He should be back by now". As if on cue, bendy came in and said "sorry that took so long, I had to tell Mickey what happened. Anyway, here are your books", placing the books on the table near my bed. I ruffled bendy's hair and said "thanks". I doctor then came in and gave me a tray. There were divided sections of different sizes on it. There was a chocolate milk, an apple, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I didn't really feel particularly hungry though. I looked at the clock, it was around noon by now. I said "guys, you can go get lunch somewhere if you're hungry. I'd feel guilty eating in front of you guys if you didn't have something to eat", Cuphead asked "you'll be fine here on your own, right?" I nodded and said "yup, I've got food and books to pass the time". Everyone nodded in agreement and filed out of the room, leaving me alone with my food and a few books. Now that I thought about it, I was feeling a little hungry. I started eating the crust of the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which actually wasn't that bad. After finishing the sandwich, I felt satisfied with the food in my stomach. I started drinking the chocolate milk, which also felt good on the way down. I then set the food tray off to the side, and called a nurse to at least make sure I didn't hurt myself when I go to the bathroom. The nurse came and I told her that I needed to use the bathroom. She helped me get up, and watched carefully as I basically waddled to the bathroom. I had to use the muscles in my torso sometimes, though it hurt a lot to do so. I didn't want the others to see me in more pain than I'm already in. That's why I asked them to go to lunch. Anyway, I tried not to wince as I slowly got up, and shakily walked to the bathroom. I practically held my breath as I sat down on the toilet just to not practically scream in pain. Once I was done with my business, I slowly stood up, and flushed the toilet. With the help of the handicap rails, I made my way over to the sink to wash my hands. Once I was done, I kinda waddled our of the bathroom, trying not to cause any more pain in my torso. The nurse then helped me sit down on the edge of my bed and changed my bandages when the bandage came off, I looked down to see my entire torso littered with cracks. The cracks were mainly at the stomach area, but there were a few at my chest. The nurse said "the cracks in your back and stomach seem to be healing nicely. We should have you up and walking around in two days at most". I piped up a little bit, which hurt, and said "really?". The nurse said "mhmm, though it'll probably hurt a bit, but the pain will get smaller and smaller as we go". I stayed silent, processing the information I was just given. There was then a knock on the door, the nurse went out and said "sorry but I'm currently changing y/n's bandages, you guys can see her once I'm done" and shut the door. The nurse then returned to me and said "your friends are here to see you again" while grabbing the gauze and wrapping up my torso. After she was done, she put the hospital gown back on me and helped me into bed. As soon and I was into bed and my legs were under the bed sheets, the nurse walked out and everyone else walked in. I waved to them, and they waved back. I asked "what did you guys do for lunch?" Cup said "we walked over to the bar and grill". I noticed their sad demeanor and asked "why do you guys look so down? Did something happen?" Everyone avoided eye contact, either looking at the wall or the floor. Cuphead said "we, uhh.... quit mickeys circus". I said "oh, so I imagine you have all of our stuff then?". Everyone seemed shocked at my response. Bendy said "yes, but, you're not mad?" I shrugged and said "I don't really have a reason to be, sure the circus was fun and all, but you guys are more important to me". Everyone gently smiled at me, and I smiled back. I then said "anyway, I have some good news. If the doctor hasn't told you yet, I should be up and walking around without help in two days". Everyone piped up and said in unison "that's great!".
