Part twelve

Y/n's pov

With our lunch break over, bendy and Boris kinda swapped spots in a way. Boris carried me, while bendy had the backpack and map. I swear, being carried by everyone in the group, is embarrassing to say the least. I occasionally felt sharp pains in my bad leg, but I could tell that it was just the gash closing up. It was a relatively quiet journey to the town. As I saw the town coming up, I said "maybe I can finally get some crutches so I can walk on my own". Most of the group nodded in agreement, some others not paying attention to the conversation. I continued to think out loud "I wonder what kind of items they have at the town. I'm kinda hoping to get some new supplies for us, right cup". I looked back at cup, to which he nodded. Mugs piped up and said "maybe you can get that book you were reading. What was it called again? The lost princess of oriana?". Felix's ears popped up, and he turned to look at me. I sighed and said "yeah, I was around half way though too. Since the boulder spider destroyed the book, I was left on a cliff hanger". Bendy said "oh yeah that's the worst" while nodding in agreement. Cuphead ruffles my hair again and said "between the three of us, you were always the nerdy bookworm". I giggled, swatting his hand away, and said "shut up". I looked over to felix and said "sorry, this conversation must be kinda awkward for you huh, since you wrote all of my favorite books and all". Felix put his hands up and said "no not at all. In fact, I'm glad that you like my books". I blushed from the fact that my favorite author just complimented me, i think. Maybe if I get another copy of the book, I can get Felix to sign it. We soon arrived in the town, and split up, Boris, and Felix getting food, and medical supplies, while cup, mug, Cala Maria, and I went to get a big backpack, a few tents, some sets of clothes for all of us, a collapsible wagon for Cala Maria to ride in, a new scarf for mugman, and hopefully a book for me. I was on cupheads back the entire time by the way, so this was public humiliation at its finest for me. We all soon went into a book store where I frantically searched the shelves, while guiding cuphead, telling him where I wanted to go. After around 20 minutes of looking, I found it. A hard cover copy of the lost princess of oriana in mint condition. Best part? It was on sale! Thank god cup always kept his money in his pockets, cause otherwords we wouldn't be able to afford any of the things we got, let alone the book. I could hardly wait to find my spot and continue where I left off on the book, but there's a time and a place for everything. Plus it's hard to read a book when your on someone's back. We then went straight to the hospital from there and got my leg professionally checked out. After awkward and almost painful examination, cause he had to take the gauze off, I got a fresh new wrap of gauze, and the gash is a lot smaller than before, so it's healing nicely. The doc even said I should be able to apply small amounts of pressure to it and move it around when I can. I then got my own pair of crutches, and was told that when the gash is completely closed, I shouldn't need the crutches anymore. I was really happy to hear that, and so was cup and mug. I finally got to walk on my own now! No more being carried around like a child. We all walked out of the hospital, and looked for bendy, Boris, and Felix. Eventually, we found them buying food from the local markets. I called out "hi guys!", everyone turned around seeing me in my crutches and mugs carrying a brand new backpack, and pulling Cala Maria in a wagon. Bendy, Boris, and Felix all smiled in approval of everything, and then I remembered my book. I went over to mugman and got it out of its special pocket of the backpack, and said "look what I managed to find!", holding up the book. Bendy said "hey! You found it". I practically had stars in my eyes, I said "yeah, I did! Can't wait to read it more later!". I was so happy to not only be walking around again, even if it's with crutches, but to also have my book again. My stomach then growled, Felix said "I guess it's dinner time, where should we eat?". I shrugged and looked around I then saw a place called the muffin crumb cafe. So I pointed to it and asked "does the muffin crumb cafe sound good?". Everyone looked over at the cafe, and cup said "I don't know, it doesn't look like they do dinners". I looked around a bit more, and spotted another restaurant, this one is called the grape vine garden. I pointed to it and said "what about that one?". Everyone looked at it, and collectively nodded. It was decided, we walked into the restaurant,  and the waiter said "welcome to the grape vine garden. How can I help you?". Felix steppes up and said "Hi there, we'll take a table for seven please". The waiter taps on her computer and says "ok, right this way" and guides us to our table.

(Time skip)

We all walked out of the restaurants with full stomachs, and ready for a good nights rest. We all check into a hotel in the town and get washed up and ready for bed. Cup, mug, Cala and I all got a room, and bendy, Boris, and Felix got the room next door. I had just gotten out of the shower when I heard yelling from the ink bros room. It sounded like bendy was having an ink attack. Coughing was heard, along with Boris and Felix talking. I just listened closely to what was happening, worry taking over my facial expression. I put my hand up against the wall and said "come on bendy, you're strong, you can get through this. I believe in you". Eventually the coughs died down, and everyone went to bed. I read the lost princess of oriana until I felt tired enough to go to sleep, which jus so happened to be 10:30pm. I put a bookmark in the book and put the book away before going to sleep.
