I woke up feeling sore, but amazing at the same time. The smell of bacon, pancakes and coffee wafted into the room and I heard music playing downstairs. I slowly sat up and stretched and remembered the events of last night. I blushed at the thought of it and looked over at the night table. There sitting with a note was a single red rose. My heart fluttered as I unfolded the note.

Good morning beautiful. Come and join me for breakfast. Love you always. -N

I quickly got out of bed, excited to see him, but as I was fixing the blankets, I got a glimpse of streaks of blood on the sheets. I looked down to see dried blood patches in between my legs.

Dammit!

I quickly gathered the sheets and placed it in the hamper. I ran to the bathroom and washed up before making my way downstairs. There, I saw Nate cooking and humming to himself. He was shirtless, wearing only his boxers. I quietly leaned on the archway and observed him with lustful eyes.

"Hey." I said quietly. He turned around and smiled at me.

"Good morning lovely." he said, putting his cooking utensils down, jogging over and giving me a kiss on the cheek. "How are you feeling?"

"A little sore..." I said sheepishly. "...but great at the same time."

He embraced me. "I'm sorry if I was too rough."

I shook my head. "No no you were amazing!" I said.

He kissed my forehead before going back to cooking breakfast. "Coffee is ready if you want to take up a cup." he said.

His cellphone rang as I grabbed my coffee and he answered it using speaker phone.

"Hellow!" he said cheerfully.

"Nathan?" a woman's voice said. He stopped and tensed up, scrambling to get his phone off speaker.

I swiftly made my way out on the balcony and quietly closed the door, knowing who was on the other line. I could hear Nate arguing and shouting over the phone, but tried not to get in the way. I had an amazing night and I'm not letting anything ruin today at all.

I heard the sliding door open and felt Nate's embrace.

"Hi." I said, as I turned around to smile at him.

He smiled back at me with hints of sadness. "That was Patty."

I kissed him on the cheek, reassuringly. "I know." I said. "You have to go home."

He nodded sadly. I put my hand on his cheek and smiled. "Hey, we knew this is what we were getting into, what we are." I kissed his cheek. "I'll be fine." I said.

"Ricky said it would be best if I lay low there too." he said as I nodded.

"If it's to keep us all safe, then yes, you have to go." I said. "I'll still be here waiting for you."

He smiled as he picked me up bridal style and walked inside the house, sitting me on the kitchen counter. His mouth explored mine as I ran my fingers through his hair. I bit his lip, making him growl in pleasure.

"You know, I can't leave you now, not like this." he said as he kissed my neck.

"I'm sure you could spare a couple of minutes." I said nibbling at his earlobe.

He growled, lifting me up again carrying me upstairs to our room and we made love once more on the floor of our bedroom.

He got dressed in his business casual outfit as I packed up his luggage for him. We shared our last embrace. "I'll try my best to get back to you as soon as I can." he said kissing my head.
