"Arya!" I cried as I ran along the walls of the Winterfell.
"Berry?! Where is Sansa? Is she..."
"The dead rose in the crypts, we made an escape and I caused a distraction so they could get away. Please tell me we are at least winning up here?"
"Look around," she sighed.
Quickly, I looked back to glance over the courtyard below. Hundreds of bodies covered the floor, someone then white walkers, but mostly the men fighting them.
"Where is Jon, and Daenerys? Can't her dragons help us?"
"I haven't seen sign of any of them,"
"Well we just have to keep fighting then!"
"To the end," Arya smiled and quickly reached out her sword to cut down a walker behind me.
Time for talking was over, and I quickly picked up a bigger sword from one of the many fallen and began cutting down any white walker that came within reach. Arya kept her back to mine and we fought like this for some time.
"There's too many!" Arya called out.
I didn't have time to respond though as the ground below my feet began to shake. Suddenly, the stone floor began to break away, and befor ei could even think of what to do, I was falling down off the wall.
Sandor POV
"CLEGANE!""Clegane we need you!"
I had been fighting alongside Beric and his fucking fire sword, killing every fucker that came our way. But fire had engulfed the courtyard now and I couldn't bring myself to lift up my sword.
"You can't give up on us!" Beric called out to me again.
"Fuck off! We can't beat them! Dont you see that you stupid whore. There fucking dead... we can't beat death," I roared back.
"Tell her that!" Beric hissed back and pointed across the courtyard.
Quickly, I looked across and saw Berry and Arya falling from the wall and landing hard on the floor. Surrounded by the dead. Without another word, I suddenly found the strength to lift up my sword and quickly charged across the courtyard.
Arya had pulled Berry to her feet and they had fled back into the castle, but still I followed behind with Beric.
Berry POV
My entire body hurt and I knew I had at least broken several ribs as each breath hurt more than the last. We had to keep moving though, if we stopped, we died. Flopping around, with Arya holding me up, we charged into the castle and down a long dark corridor."This way!" Arya screamed and let go of me to open the door to the library.
The moment the door opened, my panting stopped and the breath seemed to be locked in my lungs. Inside the room, a dozen white walkers calmly wondered around the room.
Arya, quickly turned back to me but we couldn't turn around, we could hear the footsteps of more following us. Silently, she motioned for us to bend low to the ground and stay quiet. Whincing slightly, I bent to my knees and followed her into the room. Quickly, but carefully, we shuffled across the dark wood floor and underneath and large oak table.
Silently, we waited for some of the dead to pass as I listened the my own heart beat pounding in my ears.
"When it's clear, we dart for that door there. Can you make it?" She whispered.
