YOUR POV
You walk down the street hand in hand with the one and only, Peter Parker. The day had been long and you were just on your way back from school. After leaving the Decathlon group and walking home with Peter, you couldn't help but feel a weird sensation in your stomach. Peter noticed you had this look on your face and immediately tried to take your mind off of it.

"You know that one question that you kept messing up?" He asks then places his free hand in his pocket. You groan and roll your eyes at him.

"Yeah yeah, I know. It's a simple mistake really. Why do I need to know what a "spot market" for crude oil refers to?" You ask him and shrug your shoulder.

"It's a market where crude oil is traded for immediate delivery. How hard is it to remember?"

"I get the gist of it, I literally switch 'immediate delivery' to 'future delivery'. I'll get it soon, now stop ruining this walk by talking about science." Peter chuckles at you as you reach your doorstep. He lets go of your hand as you stand in front of him.

"Have a good night babe." He says and leans in for your lips. He's inches away when you hear a terrible shriek come from behind him. You knew what this meant. He turns around and sees a lady being held by this massive robot about 20 feet tall. It kinda scared you.

"Holy crap." You mutter under your breath as your eyes fixated on the situation. He turns to look at you, you nod, reluctantly understanding what he had to do.

You had found out that Peter was Spiderman almost 3 months ago and ever since then you couldn't help but worry about him more than ever. You understood he loved to help people and you had no problem with that but at what risk? His own life? He could be really reckless.

He gave you a quick peck on the forehead before running into the nearest alleyway indicating he was going to change into his suit. You frown as the upset feeling in your stomach returns just as he comes out of the alleyway. He glances around to make sure no one was in sight.

"Go inside okay? I'll be fine." He says then runs off toward the gigantic robot. You don't listen to him. You sit down on your stoop and pull out your phone getting ready to dial Tony's number. You always had him on speed dial.

Tony knew you had found out about Peter being Spider-man. He wasn't mad but rather glad that he could use this to his advantage. He gave you his number to call or text him whenever Peter was going to do something stupid, dangerous, or whenever he got hurt and couldn't call Tony himself.

You watched from afar as Peter continues to fight the robot apparently winning. He swung off from one of the robot's arms onto the antennas on his head causing the robot to smack itself as it tried to stop Peter. People start to crowd around the commotion in the park and you mentally groan at how they would put themselves in danger to see some action.

Peter gets down from the robot and tries to tell them to back away from the scene so they don't get hurt but they don't listen. He glances at the robot, as it takes a few steps back, then turns around and tries to guide the people away from the fight. You stand up from your stoop to get a better look.

"Peter..." You mumbled so no one could hear you. The robot turns to him and sees that he's distracted. It takes its large hand and brings it forward. You knew what it was about to do.

"Spiderman, watch out!" You yell in an attempt to warn Peter. You were a little too late and the robot's massive hand collided with Peter's small body. His body flies across the street and slams into a brick building making an enormous dent. That kind of impact was too much for Peter, you knew it was.

You wasted no time running from your stoop to the building that Peter had collided with. He wasn't moving and that was never a good thing. You kneel down beside him and shook him gently by the shoulders.

"Peter, Peter, " You whispered as you continued to shake him. He wasn't responding. You grab your phone again and don't hesitate to call Tony. As the phone rings, you see a red liquid start to seep through Peter's mask. The crowd had evacuated but you didn't want to take off the mask and risk his identity being known.

The small puddle of blood starts to darken at Peter's head and you get more worried. Tony picks up the call.

"Yeah, (Y/N) if you and Peter accidentally butt-dialed me again I don't -"

"No, Tony I think something's wrong. There was this robot and- he's like not moving - and there's blood, oh my gosh, the blood."

"Where are you right now (Y/N)!" He asked and you could tell he was already worried.

"At my house... I mean the park in front of my house I-. Please, please hurry." You whimper into the phone. You've started to cry and drop the phone onto the concrete without hanging up. You grab Peter's hand and hold it into yours.

"Peter, you're gonna be okay. You just need to stay with me." You say then pull his mask up slightly so that only his lips and nose were exposed. You slowly drag a finger under his nose to check if he was breathing. He was and you let go of the breath you were holding in.

"Can you hear me, Peter? You need to stay awake for me right now okay?" He shifts over to the side and starts to cough aggressively. Finally reacting.

He lays on his side and you see blood come out of his mouth. He turns away from you to spit the blood out, shaking his head. He turns back to face you, seeing that you're worried.

"(Y/N), I'm fine okay. I just bumped my head." He says as he tries to sit up. He groans and holds onto his lower abdomen. You wipe your face.

"Don't give me that bullshit Parker, I saw that blood and that's never a good sign. Tony is on his way right now."

"You didn't need to call Tony. I need to go and stop the robot before it hurts anyone else." He props himself up onto his elbows, coughs, and quickly yanks off his mask. You see the scrape on his forehead dripping with blood.

"Take care of yourself first. If you're hurt and go fight the gigantic robot, you'll only make it worse." He gets up and holds onto his abdomen again, you stand up with him.

"(Y/N) I'll heal super fast. I have nothing to worry about but -"

"Sit down Peter. I mean it." You say and cross your arms. He sighs accepting that this would get him nowhere and sits back down on the ground.

"Someone is probably already taking care of the robot Peter, let Tony come and check in on you, and then you can go." He sits there and places his mask onto his face again. A couple of minutes pass by and Tony finally came. He had taken care of the robot situation and took Peter with him for the rest of the night to make sure he was actually okay.

Tony told you to go home and not worry about Peter. You couldn't help it though, he was your boyfriend and your best friend. You don't know what you would do if anything bad ever happened to him. You were a little paranoid anytime he did something Spider-Man-related, but it was just to make sure that he would always be safe.

You took a shower, ate some dinner, and had just started your homework when you got a notification on your phone. It was a text from Peter. You smiled opening it instantly, some relief coming over you.

'Hey babe, Tony said that I am fine and there was absolutely nothing wrong with me. Just a minor concussion.'

'A minor concussion my ass 😐'

'Babe, don't worry 🤣 I'm good as new. You know I wouldn't take on anything that's too much for me to handle.'

'Yeah I know but I just want you to be safe, I can't let anything bad happen to you 🥺'

'Awe (Y/N), nothing bad will happen to me. I promise okay? I love you.'

'Okay, if you say so. I love you too Pete. I'll see you first thing tomorrow right?'

'As always, good night 😘'

'Good night 😘'

You placed for phone down next to you. What would you do without this boy?
