YOUR POV
"So you're sure you'll be here?" Harrison asked you over the phone for the thousandth time.

"Yes, I'm sure." You say into the phone and start to get ready. Harrison had asked you to come over to hang out today but he was way more eager about it than normal. You didn't understand why since the two of you would only be bing watching movies like normal.

You finished getting ready and headed out the front door to head towards his apartment. When you pulled up to the apartment you didn't hesitate to knock already wanting to sit on his couch and start watching movies.

"About time you got here." The boy greeted you and you roll your eyes.

"Yeah, nice to see you too." You tell him and step into the apartment. "So, what will we be starting with today?" You had asked him when you plopped yourself on his couch.

"I was thinking we could start with 'The Break-Up'. Someone told me it was really good." He says as he joins you on the couch. You didn't question him knowing that he would probably fall asleep halfway and you could just change it.

Boy, you were wrong. He had stayed up throughout the whole movie which was very unlike Harrison. You doubted that he was actually paying attention though because he was constantly checking his phone.

"What's next?" You asked him as the credits rolled up. He was eager and quickly gave another suggestion.

"Let's watch 500 Days of Summer." You grunted as you recalled the movie being a movie you use to watch with your ex Tom. A topic you never wanted to touch on. Harrison had known that.

"After this, I'm choosing." You say not wanting to end up watching movies about exes when you were still recovering from yours. You had dated Tom, who was also one of Harrison's closes friends, for 2 years before you found out he was cheating on you.

Sure almost a year had passed since then but some wounds took longer to heal than others. It sure didn't heal any faster since he never even gave you an explanation after.

About 30 minutes into the movie and Harrison still constantly glancing at his phone, the doorbell rang and you had ignored it. Harrison glances at his phone once again and then smiles.

"Who's that?" You asked him turning your head to the door. He shrugs his shoulders and quickly gets up without another word and opens it. You hear the door close but only turn your head when you hear Harrison call your name.

Your heart stops for a second as you see Tom standing near the doorway. He stuffs his hands in the pockets of the jacket he was wearing and sighs, he was not expecting to see you there.

Then it hit you, the movies that Harrison had chosen today, they were all movies about getting back with your ex. He was trying to hit at you the whole time. You mentally note to yourself to slap the lights out of him after this.

"(Y/N) before you say anything," Tom opened his mouth to start off. "I just thought you should know that this was not my idea."

"Yeah, no shit." You say knowing he would have made the effort a while ago if he wanted.

"Harrison! Explain! Now!" You say and cross your arms over your chest. He comes closer to the couch you were sitting on and Tom follows.

"I know the two of you didn't end off on good terms, but you guys are my closest friends. It's been almost a year and the two of you need to work things out."

"Harrison we can't work things out just like that and be friends," Tom speaks out then moves his hands throughout his hair.

"If you can't be friends at least have the situation be clear, because the way I've heard it, there are a lot of misunderstandings between the two of you." Harrison clasps his hands together awkwardly. Neither of you says anything but a glance at each other.
