Part 3
YOUR POV
You were beyond excited when you woke up this morning, you would finally get to take off the stupid cast on your leg after having it on for a nearly month. This meant that you didn't have to go to school either and who wouldn't enjoy that.Your aunt had made you breakfast and after the two of you had finished eating, you immediately made your way to the doctor's office.
"Just because the cast is off doesn't mean you've completely healed." The doctor told you but you were a little too excited to really pay attention. "I still want you to take things slow and don't put too much or any pressure on it." He told you, you still had to use the crutches which bummed you out but you just nodded before he dismissed you.
Once you got home you were bored. Not having school also didn't give you much to do since the two people you talked to still had to go. You sat around the apartment for about 3 hours after your appointment just watching T.V and eating snacks.

The day had passed and you were patiently waiting for Spider-Man to end his patrol and come to see you as he usually does. The friendship was the most exciting thing that went on in your life. When he came to your window you didn't hesitate to let him in."I got you a treat." He says as climbs into your room and hands you a chocolate bar in the process. You chuckled.
"A treat? For what?" You questioned him as you grab the bar.
"You got your cast taken off today." He says, sitting on the windowsill, and you smile.
"Oh, so you remembered." You say before fully examining the chocolate bar that he had handed you. You frowned and he notices the gloomy look on your face.
"What's wrong?" He asks almost immediately.
"Ugh, it just reminds me of Peter again." You say hating the words as they come out of your mouth. You hated to bring him up whenever Spider-Man came to visit but it seemed inevitable.
"A chocolate bar?" Spider-Man asked and you could tell his face was full of confusion behind the mask.
"Yeah. You know when you're having a bad day and it seems like nothing is going right?" He nods. "Peter always bought me this chocolate bar to make me feel better." You glance at the bar again.
"Or sometimes we would get in an argument, which was always his fault, and he'd buy me a chocolate bar to apologize. It was our thing." You say then chuckle before placing the chocolate bar on your small desk by the window. You sat down at the desk and began to start your homework from last night that you still didn't complete.
"So, how was -" You had started off trying to make conversation and change the topic but he cuts you off.
"I know I asked last time and you didn't want to talk about it, but why aren't you and this Peter guy friends anymore?" He questioned. You stare at the work on the desk in front of you, contemplating if you wanted to tell him or not. You caved in.
"I'm not really sure. One week we're friends and then the next week he suddenly doesn't want to be friends anymore." You tell him and he stays silent. He knew he had a reason.
"But why do I care you know? He's probably better off without me." You point out but Spider-Man scoffs but quickly tried to regain himself.
"He's not better off and maybe he regrets the decision. Maybe he misses you as much as you miss him, maybe a little more." He admits and it causes you to scoff this time.
"I highly doubt it, how can someone leave behind a 3-year friendship over nothing. We didn't have a fight and it's not like I said anything to offend him or whatever." He stays silent and you find yourself slipping and letting your defenses down. Why was he able to make you vulnerable and so open like this?
