ONE YEAR LATER

Hey!

My name's Shay. I'm Robbie's manager/publicist.

Basically, I keep her schedule intact and make sure she follows it. It's an impressive schedule let me tell you.

Next week Monday, she has a gala to attend as a guest of honor.

On Tuesday, she has a book signing and an interview.

Wednesday, she has to fly back to LA for a meeting with Warner Bros. (It's for the movie adaptation) And also an interview.

Then on Saturday, Robbie has an interview with Entertainment weekly. A photo shoot is also in her schedule.

Which reminds me, she has an interview with Teen Vogue today.

Robbie is such a great boss. Despite being 5 years older than her, she doesn't treat me like an assistant or a manager at all. I'm more like a big sister to her than an employee. And being a big sister, it's a given that I get to know her history.

Yes. I know about her parents and her childhood. I also know about Martin, Gerri and the coffee house. I met them already. And Charlotte, who sometimes visits Robbie and I whenever her university allows long breaks. It's not difficult to see why these girls are best friends.

Among other things I know about Robbie, I also know about Calum.

Being a fan of 5SOS myself, I check on their situation daily. It seems that they are also making progress of themselves. Those boys are getting lots of attention even more so than before. I know Robbie is proud of them.

Even though she's not really communicating with them anymore.

But I see tweets from both Calum and Robbie that are obviously directed to each of them. Honestly, teenagers.

I understand, of course.

Although there are times where Robbie and 5SOS are in the same city. I've always tried my best to persuade her and to visit the boys. But she always, always tells me the same thing.

"I'm not ready to face them yet. Especially Calum."

Just like right now.

The boys are here in London for a show and to record stuff. And Robbie is here for a short break from her book tour.

"It's been a year, Robbie. Stop being ridiculous." I told her as we were inside her newly furnished flat in Soho. It was morning and we're having breakfast. Well, I was having cereal while Robbie here was having a morning breakdown.

"What if they all hate me now?" she asked.

I shook my head at her, "I'm sure they won't. Michael got in touch with me to ask how you are? You see? Those boys are so sweet. How can they hate you?"

"Because of the really stupid thing that I've done!" Robbie whined and stomped on her feet and basically throwing a tantrum like a child.

"If it was so stupid then why'd you do it in the first place? Why'd you leave?"

"You know why, Shay." then she slumped down on the stool beside me, twiddling with her bracelet.

I sighed as I started smoothing her hair back straight. She seemed to calm down a bit.

"Listen, no one hates you." I said. "You did what you had to do and I'm sure all the boys are proud of what you achieved. What I don't get is why you stopped communicating with them. You weren't that busy. You had time. Now if I were you, I would visit them and talk to them right now. Like old times."
