3rd Person P.O.V.

Y/N was doing better, but not by much. The stress had crept up on her much quicker than she anticipated, and as a result, took a break two days earlier. She got sick, but didn't realize, and stayed home yesterday. Hence, this is today now. Y/N was still staying home, by Alex's orders, but she didn't mind. As a matter of fact, him giving her attention made her really happy. However, he had to leave around noon, to get her a gift, which was coincidentally around the same time she fell asleep for her nap.

Alex's P.O.V.

F/N/N fell asleep a few minutes ago. I was currently going to the bookstore, to grab her books. It was a surprise that Y/N sometimes made time to read. I knew she had a few books, since she'd leave them out. I also knew that F/A was her favorite author, and that she still hadn't read only a few of their books. Opening the door to the store, I heard the familiar sound of the doorbell ringing. 'God, that's fucking annoying.' Apparently, since I never go outside, all stores have doorbells above the door. I started walking through the aisles, looking at the different author names.

I eventually found F/A's books, and grabbed one that I was sure Y/N didn't have. I still needed three more books, so I started seeking others. I found one by 2/F/A, and two more on 2/F/T. When I went to go pay, the woman asked me if I wanted to wrap the books, or just leave them like that. I agreed, "Yeah, please. I appreciate it, ma'am." When she finished wrapping it, I smiled softly at her. She was a sweet old lady, after all, and seemed very caring.

I arrived home, and luckily 2/F/N/N wasn't awake still. I watched as she woke up, and saw the gift in my hands. "What's that?" She asked as she sat up.  "Firstly, are you feeling better?" Y/N nodded, and moved her H/C hair out of her face. "Here you go, cariñosa." I walked over to her, and placed the box in her lap. She tore open through the gift, and smiled widely. "Thank you!" She started kissing my cheek, and I could feel myself blush. "Y-you're welcome, princesa."
