It was the next day, and Y/N was up and ready to go back to work. She woke up early, much like before she got sick, and took one of her newly purchased book, placing it in her bag. Getting dressed, Y/N went to make breakfast, this time being simple flapjacks with a bunch of different assortments on top. It looked too perfect to be eaten, but she eventually ate them, savoring the wonderful taste. Alex woke up, smelling the delicious breakfast, and walked in on Y/N eating her food. "Hi, cariño, how'd you sleep?" "I slept fine, thankfully." Alex sat down beside her, and grabbed her fork. Y/N frowned, before he held up a piece of the food to her mouth, and she ate it.

After a few minutes of them eating in silence, Y/N had to leave to go to work, leaving Alex alone. He went to their room, and just started browsing the channels on their TV. However, he didn't really watch it. He just turned it on, so he wouldn't be lonely while he scrolled through his Twitter timeline.

After a bit, Alex decided to head to one of his clients' homes, to take care of their children. He had the whole week off, due to an emergency at his job, which caused a lot of issues. To pass time, Alex had decided to babysit until he was able to go to back to work. He locked the door behind him, and started making his way to the address, which was an easy walk. He started listening to music, and hummed as he arrived. Alex knocked, and a middle-aged woman opened the door. "Is this Miss Isley?" Alex asked. The woman nodded, and appeared frustrated. "Thank you so much for coming, Alex. It means a lot. The food is already prepared, just heat it up. Both are sleeping, so you should be fine for a bit." Alex nodded, and Miss Isley dropped the room key in his hand, before taking off. He walked in, and sat on the couch, feeling awkward.

Almost an hour later, after arriving, the children woke up. It was a seven year old boy, and a ten year old girl. Once they'd woken up, Alex was about to prepare cereal, before the girl stopped him. "We want eggs!" "Yeah!" "But Julie, your mom said to give you cereal," Alex tried to reason. John, the boy, gave him the biggest puppy eyes he could offer, which wasn't enough to convince Alex. However, he didn't want to disappoint the children, so he started making eggs. After they finished, they both went to the living room, and put on Shrek, while Alex went to wash the dishes and clean the table.

This procedure continued, along with them trying to hit each other at times. They were bratty, but Alex didn't have a choice. At last, Miss Isley came back home, leaving Alex to go back home, or to buy Y/N a gift. He'd almost forgotten.

Y/N's P.O.V.

'God, Alex has been getting me gifts for the past couple of days. I wonder what he's up to?' I pondered as I picked up my phone. I dialed Alex's number, and heard him pick up after a few seconds. "Hey N/N!" I heard him say, as I could imagine his smile. "Hi, Alex!" I smiled to myself. "What's up?" "Well, not much. Just work. As a matter of fact, a company has decided to buy most of our products, and our team is just really happy." " Really?! That's amazing!" I could tell Alex was as happy as I was. "Alright, well, I gotta take care of some paperwork. Bye!"

Hearing Y/N sell amazingly bad greatly warmed my heart. I walked by the F/B store, which luckily had hoodies. 'I'm sure Y/N would appreciate it,' I thought to myself as I walked in. There were dozens of racks filled with different colored outfits, but I immediately flocked to the goose section. I looked through most of them, and ended up with five. A pastel blue one, a red one, a sunflower yellow, a pastel pink, and a pastel purple. 'I'm sure she'd like these, right?'

When I got home, Jerry looked over at me, and appeared as if he were smiling. "Hey there, little guy, how are ya?" I tapped the tank gently, and dropped his daily dose of food. I placed the bags down, and went to the room, to lay down to a bit, but saw Y/N in bed already, reading one of her new books. "Hey Alex. How did babysitting go?" She looked up, closing her book to listen to me. "It went fine. I'll be back," I rushed to grab the hoodies, and watched as Y/N looked up at me. "Alex, I told you, stop spending your money on me." I frowned. "No. I want to treat you like the reina you are." She rolled her eyes, before grabbing my ear and pulling me down, giving me a quick kiss. "Ay, you dumb nut."
