3rd Person P.O.V.

April 10th. The start of Coachella. Y/N was excited, as she'd managed to snatch VIP tickets. Those were for the extra rich people who liked spending their money carelessly. Or, more for Y/N's situation, wanted to actually attend the event and enjoy it. She'd been saving up tips from her job as a waitress, since when she heard that Miku would be performing. As a huge weeb, Y/N knew about the Vocaloid, and enjoyed her music. Of course she got weird stares whenever she hummed one of the program's songs, but she didn't care. Being a weeb, Y/N also was an expert on memes, and her proudest merchandise she owned was a Kakashi headband, and an Akatsuki cloak. Since this year was the year of the weebs, everyone had agreed to wear any Naruto headband and an Akatsuki cloak.

Well, Y/N was at the festival, and the weebs didn't disappoint. Over half the people she had seen were dressed in the cloaks, which made her feel so much better after having a mental breakdown over whether or not to wear the cloak. She didn't have any friends who were coming, so she was all by herself. Taking her phone out, she had snapped a few pictures for people before sending the pics to them. But, of course, there have to be those TikTokers who only watch anime because it's "trendy" at the moment. So, two e-boys walked up to her, their arms crossed. It was obvious by the way they styled their hair, and what clothes they wore. The one with black hair and edgy accessories sassed at her, saying, "Eheh, you DO realize that Kakashi wasn't a part of the Akatsuki, right?" Y/N merely blinked, and nodded. "Well, I mean, duh. I've watched the anime before, this is just a trend that weebs are doing, the ones who are coming here.""Yeah right, we haven't seen anyone wearing whatever the hell you're wearing, so clearly your plan backfired." She looked around, and nearly everyone who had been wearing their outfits had left, or turned away while overhearing.

She rolled her eyes. "Just quit trying to be an anime fan, you're only watching it because it's trendy," the blonde smirked, knowing that he was pressing all the right buttons. Y/N breathed in heavily, before someone grabbed her shoulder. "Hey, Aurora, come on, these losers aren't worth your time." She turned, confused, before noticing that it was a male who was dressed in the same cloak, but different headband. "O-oh, um, yeah.. let's go.. Alex.." She mumbled, as she made a fake name for him. He brought her over to a group of weebs, as noticeable by their outfits. "Here, have this headband instead. We have spares, and you look more like an Itachi," someone told her, as they handed her Itachi's headband. "Thank you..." She trailed off, not knowing their name. "Parker, and we heard those assholes talking to you. Having the nerve to call you a fake weeb when they don't even know what a weeb is." Y/N replaced her Kakashi headband and shoved it in her pocket, swapping it out with Itachi's. "Well, it's almost time for the performances, right?" "Shit, you're right. We should probably go watch-"

It was already dark, and the stadium was full of excessively loud rich people, but among the crowd were the weebs, with light sticks and familiar headbands. They were in a humongous clump, and Parker and his friends were dragging Y/N over. Once they moved into the group, she stopped Parker, tapping his shoulder. "Yeah, what's up?" "Um.. I don't know any of you, so, could you, like, introduce me to everyone?" He nodded, smiling. "Yeah, the guy who brought you to us is Alex, which to my surprise, you got his name before actually talking with him. There's Gilbert, Jonathan, Emily, Nini, and Natalya." "I'm Y/N, and thank you for the headband." Alex eyed the two as he shoved his hands in his pockets. He didn't have a girlfriend or a date, as his friends had only invited him because he was a weeb and wanted to watch Miku. "Alex, are you fine?" "I'm fine Nini, I guess I'm waiting on the show to start."

-Time skip to when Miku's performance about to start-

"Guys, guys hush! It's about to start!" Emily shushed the group as everyone settled down, and the stage's lights dimmed. The sound of cymbals being played brought a nostalgic feeling, and Miku slowly elevated from underneath the floor. She began singing, and waved to her fans, who were waving their light sticks and singing along with her. "Sekai de ichi-ban Ohime-sama!" Y/N was waving her light stick around as well, smiling happily as she sung along. Since every weeb knew what the song was about, Alex shrugged in the crowd, and shifted beside the new girl. Coincidentally, this was when Miku was finishing up the first song, and said, "Oh, hey baby!" Y/N turned around, noticing that Parker wasn't beside her anymore. The Mexican knew what he was about to do was cheesy, but he did it nonetheless. He rested his chin on her shoulder, and whispered, "Be my number one princess, hmm?" Her face flushed, and she looked down, embarrassed. "I.." To be fair, she'd thought of him as nothing more than a somewhat attractive playboy who happened to be a weeb. "Y-yes.." He hugged her from behind, and chuckled softly. "Was that too cheesy, N/N?" "Yup, don't ever do that again."
