Levi's POV

"Hanji, not now..." I say gently, kissing her as she sat on the desk. My hands her on her thighs as I gripped her. I was tempted to do her on the desk, but I held myself back. I chuckled softly, kissing her more as her hands tempted me more. "We both got work... we'll be caught. We had enough close-calls. Shall we calm down at least?"

"What? You don't want to celebrate with me? This is gonna be my first child- and your second... please?"

"We got work." I continued, looking away. But Hanji pulled on my tie and pulled me close. "Hanji..."

"A few minutes- that's all I'm asking. Please?" The pleading got deep into my heart, and I just chuckled. "Levi... please...?"

Giving into her pleas, I nodded my head and pulled her close. Her slender legs wrapped around my waist as she surrounds me with her playful chuckles. I just had to reply in: "Alright."

Gingerly, I pushed her down- and we just kissed for a few moments until my personal phone rang. I groaned, finally giving into Hanji's desires and only to be interrupted. Hanji attempted to fool me and pull me away from the phone by quickly kissing me. "Ignore it, will you?"

The phone rang and rang. "What if it's about Eren?"

"Fine..." She grumbles, getting off of me. "You win. I'm heading back up to my office. Meet me there if you change your mind about working."

I rolled my eyes, kissing her one last time. "Alright. Oh, and you're still free for lunch?"

She chuckles softly as she was walking out the door. "Like I have any other plans, Levi."

Once the door quietly shut behind her, I answered the phone in a calmly manner. "Levi Ackerman speaking."

Then, there was that familiar voice speaking to me in some sort of a panicky manner. "M-Mr. Ackerman? Ah, thank you. Um, I know this is a little informal of me, but can you pick up your son from the elementary school? I-It's urgent..."

"Urgent? What happened? Is Eren okay?"

Her breathing got heavy as I waited for her next words. "H-He's having a meltdown... a student from class- please get him. The other teachers and I are having trouble... calming him down. He keeps asking for you and your wife."

Growling softly, I sighed and quickly grabbed my car keys. "Alright, I'll be there. Tell Eren that I'm on my way."

"D-Dad..." Eren whimpers softly, rubbing his face with tears. He tried to smile, but continued to cry.

"Shh..." I said quietly to him, letting him clutch onto me. My hand rubbed his back, and I continued to speak to him. "It's alright, I got you. Don't worry." I then turned up to Miss Polly and looked at her for answers. It must've been intimidating because she was shivering with fear. "What happened?"

"L-Long story short... there was this boy, Jean, and he was continuously teasing Eren about the relationship between you and your... wife? Sorry, I won't pry. But it continued on and Eren just screamed for you. I-I panicked and quickly dialed for the father. So sorry... I was busy-".

"Enough." I growled, looking away and holding Eren close me. "I'm taking him home now." I then took Eren's hand tightly and held him close. "Let's go. I need to get Hanji from work before we get home." Eren simply... nodded his head and followed after me. Constantly, he wiped his tears with his free hand.

Hanji, at first, was worried about everything when I suddenly had to pick her up. Lunch was canceled, and we stayed home for the rest of the day. Mostly, I tried to comfort Eren. Except, Hanji was the better parent and quickly calmed his episode. I made dinner for the both of us, and I constantly contemplated about Eren and his schooling issue. I should take him to school, but after that meltdown... I didn't know what to do to resolve it.

"Levi..." I turned to see Hanji, walking up to me. "Can we talk?"

"Is it about Eren?" She nods her head, continuing to walk. "What's going on?"

"What that boy said... what Jean said... it's bad. Eren is now thinking that we're replacing him with the... the baby. No matter how much I said it, he won't believe it. Honestly, I'm stuck. I'll take over dinner."

Shaking my head, I left the kitchen and kissed Hanji gently. "Don't burn anything. I mean it."

"I won't."

Stepping into Eren's room, I noticed he was still crying. "Hey... Eren... wanna tell me something?" He shook his head and curled up on the bed. "Eren..."

"D-Do you hate me...?" He asks quietly, following up with another question. "A-Are you... r-replacing me...?"

"No." My answer was as swift as the strong winds. I would never let Eren doubt that. "I love you, and I would never replace you. You're special to me. To Hanji." Slowly, I sat next to him, wrapping my arm around him. "Most importantly, you're my son. Don't ever doubt it, okay? What did that boy tell you?"

"H-He told me... h-he told me that y-you was happier... without me... w-with Miss Hanji... a-and you were happier. A-And the b-baby... half-sister... he told me you were r-replacing me. B-Because you don't like me anymore..."

Gently, I kissed his forehead and chuckled. "I wonder who told you that it would be your half-sibling..."

"A-A f-friend named Armin told me..."

"Armin? A friend? Wow..." I chuckled, letting Eren lean on me. "Anyways, I'm not replacing you. No one is replacing you. You're irreplaceable- you know what that means?" He shook his head 'no,' and so I continued. "It means that you cannot be replaced. And... there's something I need to admit to you..."

Eren turns to me with curiosity filling his eyes- it was no longer his tears. "W-What...?"

"When your real mommy... went away... I was scared. And you know that Dad doesn't get scared often- just when you're in trouble. But, I was scared. Your real mommy was gone... and I didn't know what to do. You were just a baby back then, Eren. I got... overprotective. I wanted the best for you. Never realizing that I was always unhappy. But you know what, Eren?"

"W-What...?"

I chuckled softly, kissing his forehead. "I'm glad you found Hanji. Yeah, I'm happier... but that's because of you. You're gonna be a big brother soon. I don't regret it. That's my truth. Now, I have to take you back to school." Eren began to whine softly, but I continued to reassure him. "Don't worry, that boy is changing classes. I'll make sure of it. You already have a friend in your current class. But listen- you need to be strong. Remember that I will always love you. You're gonna be a big brother. Hanji loves you. No one is leaving you behind, and there is no one replacing you."

"P-Promise...?"

I nodded, taking his hand tightly. "I promise. Now, let's go to the kitchen before Miss Hanji burns something this time. We wouldn't like that, am I right?"

Now that seemed to cheer him up. How his smile lit up the darkness. "Uh huh! L-Let's not have Mommy burn something!"
