Levi's POV

"Eren, be careful now." I say gently with a hint of a growl in my throat. We just finished setting up a crib for his baby sister, and he wanted to decorate it with the stuffed animals we bought. "Don't want you getting hurt."

"I know, Dad."

Chuckles softly fell from me, throwing away that face of worry away. Just  few days ago, Hanji and I got confirmation that our unborn baby was in fact a girl. When we revealed it to Eren and showed the ultrasound pictures to him, he gave us a hard argument that he was right all along and we didn't believe him. But with the pictures... he really liked seeing her. Then, he asked for her name... which we didn't think of yet. But here he is, attempting to name his baby sister.

"I think Lily's gonna like it..." He says quietly, giving me a huge smirk.

"Hanji said no to that name. Not Lily."

His face turned to this light pink and his eyes was growing with fire of anger. "B-But I like that name! I-I want my s-s-sister to be Lily!"

I shook my head and kissed his forehead, "Sorry... we already went through that. Hanji doesn't like it..."

"S-Speaking of Mommy... when can she move here?"

"Soon." I say after a few moments of silence.

Without Hanji's knowing about this surprise for her, I bought us a new house. Off in the suburbs, in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to the school and our work. A park was a few minutes away from our house- so Eren could invite his two friends over to play games. There was a few rooms- in case if Hanji wanted another kid. But only a few things lingered in my head. I thought things would resolve once we bought the house... but I wanted to marry Hanji... and this house... solved the problem for extra room. No more cramped places.

"You want to go and surprise her now?"

Eren gasps and quickly nods her head. "Uh huh! Let's go get Mommy!"

My fingers repeatedly tapped the driving wheel as I waited for Hanji. She was with Nanaba all afternoon, taking a break from her work. Well, she had to. She was too far into the pregnancy and I didn't want her working every day with long hours. If she was to give birth during work, I would've freaked. She didn't mind it either, expect she guilt-tripped me for not being around when she's at her friends' or something. Hanji's just... special when it comes to her work.

"Dad! Mommy's coming!" I turned my head to see where he was pointing at, and there she was. Nanaba was by her side, holding her arm as they walked away from Nanaba's house. "Mommy!"

Hanji heard Eren's voice, smiling and waving towards us. She then kissed Nanaba's cheek and walked towards us. I'm not the kind of man to get jealous when it's her friends, but I do admit getting jealous when it comes to the woman I love and some other guy she knows. Time passed, and Hanji was already in the passenger seat.

"Ready?" She asks, smiling towards Eren with her question directing towards me.

I nodded, starting the car up. "Yeah, yeah, I'm ready. Let's go home."

The sweet, little boy fell asleep on the way to the house. Same with the beautiful woman in my car. I chuckled, seeing how they were so similar. I remember when Eren hated everyone and didn't want me to leave him behind. A spoiled brat, some may say. I gave him whatever he wanted... all because I don't know how to handle such a child like him. Unlike most spoiled brats, Eren seemed to understand why I wouldn't get him things he wanted. Why I wouldn't get him toys that seemed to expensive. He seemed to understand. He came out good. He found Hanji.

"W-Where are we...?" I turned to see Hanji taking her glasses off and rubbing her eyes. "Levi, where are we going?"

"Home." I responded, looking in the rear view mirror to only see Eren still asleep. "Wake him up, please."

Hanji nodded her head, gracefully waking the sleeping boy from his slumber. Once Eren was fully awake and not being grumpy, I drove up to the house and Hanji stared at me with this confusion. I smiled gently while Eren didn't hide it best. He was giggling and covering his mouth to hide his gleeful smile.

"Levi... Eren... what's going on... this isn't our house-"

"S-Surprise!" Eren shouted loudly and laughing softly. "D-Dad bought a new house!"

Hanji turned to me with this look of surprise. Her stares were just deadly. If I wasn't in love with her and if I wasn't the father of her baby, I felt like I would've been dead. She probably would've killed me. "Levi?"

I felt my shoulders shrugging and I was struggling to speak. "Yeah, I-I did. But hey... you'll love it. Eren, want to show her around?"

He nods and hopped out of the car. "Mommy! Come!" With a heavy sigh, Hanji left the passenger seat and walked with Eren- hand in hand. As they walked, I got out of the driver's seat and locked the whole car before chasing after them.

"L-Lookie at sister's room!" Eren says as he hurriedly pulled Hanji. Hanji struggled to follow after him, and I didn't react to it. I get that Hanji was probably mad at me because I hid this away from her, but I also didn't want to get in the way of Eren giving her the tour of the house.  "See?!"

When I walked into the room, Hanji's hand was on her mouth, looking around. Eren was sitting in the rocking chair -specifically for Hanji when she feeds the baby- and Eren was just giggling. I tapped Hanji's shoulder gently, and took her hand. "Hey... are you... okay...?"

She nods her head and removes her hand from her mouth. Behind that hand hid a smile of joy and her eyes were brimming with tears of joy. "I thought I'll be angry for you hiding this from me... but this is wonderful... a nursery... you two did this?"

"Yes!" Eren shouts and giggles more. Suddenly, he hops off the chair and wraps his chubby arms around Hanji's leg. "S-Surprise!"

Hanji simply ran her slender fingers through Eren's hair and smiles. "Thanks you two... I really love this surprise..."
