DESTINY'S PLAN - *HOT NEW BOOK*

MEANWHILE...

Four long years have passed since Jason and Krissy last saw each other.

They are both in their early 20s and feel like completely different people than they did at 18.
The two have grown physically, mentally and simply in life experience.

When they were 18 they couldn't imagine a future without the other in it so it was hard, really hard for the first year apart. However, with new life stages and zero contact between the two, Jason and Krissy found that their memories of each other began fading every so often to the point that memories began to feel more like dreams. You know the ones you struggle to remember the moment you wake up.
And the failure to reminisce was equally as frustrating as recalling the memories themselves, because the memories they shared simply aroused sadness or anger, even the good ones.

So they began actively trying to forget the memories that they still remembered to avoid those negative emotions all together.
Plus they thought doing this would be respecting the decisions they made that night when they ended it and that felt right.

Jason for the first three months after the break up had Krissy followed and watched ordering those that worked for him to deliver him a weekly report on what she got up to, including anything from as little as what she brought when she went grocery shopping. The reports were always something Jason looked forward to, as every Sunday he would sit comfortably in his bed with a drink of whatever alcoholic beverage he craved and purposefully read over every word digesting its contents.
He did this every week until he watched the first season of the Netflix show 'You' and saw way to much of himself in the main character which severely unsettled him, so he abruptly ended this bad habit, honestly in fear of himself and decided no longer to obsess over what he had lost but rather on his future.

However, dispite both accepting their new lives, which was now no longer new, small reminiscing of a time of such intensity made the two feel somewhat special.
That they had shared an experience that little to no one has  gone through. Which ment it felt like they both had this small divine secret that the world was not privy to.
And if they were honest made them feel sightly above the rest, flattered to chosen by Destiny. Dispite most of the memories fading, that feeling that there love for one another made them special was something they both stored somewhere quiet and would often turn to it whenever needing a escape from the land of the normal....

Within the last four years Krissy had gone to University to study Business. She hated it the first year, she found it difficult and demanding the second, but by the third and fourth year, she grew to be good and she soon learnt to love it. But not particularly because she had any general love for business but because she was good and Krissy loved feeling good.

Jason also went to University but not to the same one as Krissy, dispite them originally planning for him to.
With his new respect for distance he knew they needed to physically be apart and they couldn't risk any run ins and although it was tempting to find out what University she was going to it was healthier he didn't. Plus he knew he needed to go to the same prestigious University his father had go to, to keep up appearances and help legitimates his position in the company.

Jason also studied business, but unlike Krissy he loved it. His whole personality was formed for highly intense and hard environments and the ability to innovate was in his blood. If it wasn't for the fact he was automatically going to work in his fathers company he would have been first choice for many reputable firms. Still, Jason had many offers when he finished university which just inflated his ego, which got exceptionally big when he denied them all.

So now Jason is working at his father's billion dollar company and Krissy is starting her new job at a corporate firm. Both entering into the next stage of adulting and Destiny feels like its the perfect time to reignite those faded dreams and reunite the soul mates.
