Memory Loss:
I woke up this morning feeling a strange. My head was hazy and I couldn't remember everything that happened in the past 24 hours. I remember the game, dinner, and my shower but everything between, I just can't remember. It's like I'm only able to see clips or bits and pieces of what happened. I tried to shake the feeling and turned to see that my alarm clock read 6:00 am. I begrudgingly got out of bed and slowly made my way to the bathroom to take a shower. When I was finished I made my way back into my room and got ready for school.
Good morning mom, what's up? I walked into the kitchen and noticed my mom was standing by the window staring out into the woods. Hello, mom? A-are you okay? She kept staring out into the woods not turning around and not saying a word. I slowly and cautiously made my way towards where she was standing and when I got close I reached out my hand and placed it on her shoulder. As soon as my palm made contact with her shoulder my mother visibly stiffened at my touch. Hey, mom, are you okay, I asked again. She relaxed at the sound of my voice and quickly turned around. "Oh I'm sorry sweetie, did you say something," my mom asked me. Mom, are you okay? You've been staring out of the window and I called for you a few times. It was like you couldn't hear me or something. "Yes, sorry Gray, I'm fine. I guess I was too caught up in what I was thinking about. "Okay mom, did you need me to stay home today? "Nice try Gray, take your vitamins and head to school, I'll be okay." I made my way to the cabinet took out my vitamins that I've been taking since I could remember and headed out to school.
When I finally made it to school I saw Rose and Amber talking to each other near my locker. I made my over, Hey guys, whats up? They both gave me a friendly smile and said hi. Hey Amber, by chance do you know what we did after dinner last night? For some reason I just can't remember anything. "Wait you can't remember anything?" No, I mean I remember some things but not everything, it's like my memory was wiped away. Amber and Rose looked at each other just as confused. But as soon as Amber was going to say something the bell rang signalling for us to go to our class. I waived bye to the girls and made my way down the hall to my first class but when I turned the corner I slammed into something hard and flew backwards landing on my ass.
What the hell, I quickly got up and grabbed my things that littered the floor. When I got up was mere inches from the "wall" I think his name was Aaron and I only met him once when I bumped into his other brother Alexander. Excuse me I didn't see you there, sorry I mumbled while looking him in his eyes. He looked at me with ferocity and something else but I can't quite put my finger on it. "Watch where the hell you're going mutt," he growled out through clenched teeth. I looked at him taken aback by his bad attitude before my shocked face morphed into one of fury. Who the hell does this guy think he is. I jabbed my pointer finger into his chest, well as high as I could get it close to his chest since he was a giant compared to me. Listen here Aaron, I spat with just as much venom. I bumped into you by accident and apologized for it. You don't need to be an asshole. I heard gasps all around us and when I turned my eyes away from this godly like creature I saw that everyone stopped and was staring at us. Some were staring at us with fear others shocked. I turned back to face Aaron and when I did he grabbed me by my forearm forcefully pulling me behind him and outside. "Everyone, get to class he boomed. I saw every student and even teachers scramble their way back to their classes.
I tried to yank my arm away from his death grip but to no avail. What the hell do you want you damn psycho, let me go. I started flailing around like it would help but again it didn't. "Would you shut the hell up mutt." He stopped in his track quickly turned out facing me and grabbed me from the collar of my shirt lifting me into the air so that I was eye level with him. "You are a fucking pain in my side. I hate you, he spat out. You will never be good enough for us and this pack. You're a pathetic, black, human and I would never fucking love you, like you, or even tolerate you. You are the scum on the bottom of my shoe you will never amount to anything. I looked at him wide eyed and confused trying to stop the unshed tears from spilling from my eyes. "You will never be my mate." All I felt was pain, a horrible and deathly like pain running through my body and I didn't even know what from. Tears started to spill from my face and all I saw was an evil smirk grace his lips. He dropped me letting me fall to the ground and walked simply walked away.
