Her Protectors

Chapter 2

Jameson Brother: Alexander

        I had a strange feeling while driving me and Adrian to school today. Like some kind of force pulling me towards something, so instead of going our usual root I decided to take us a different way, the way that the force was pulling me. "Hey Xander, I feel it too, what do you think is it?" "I don't know Adrian but we're going to find out."

     Driving down the road while soft music playing in the background we drove to where we felt the pull and we didn't see anything unusual just the woods and a girl walking. So we decided to drive slowly to see if anything stuck out to us. But nothing, then we pulled up next to the girl and she just bolted and started to run into the woods. I guess we spooked her. We stopped but then we realized the time so we decided to just leave and head to school. "Hey Xan where do you think Aaron might be?" "I'm not sure, probably with Chelsea."

    We finally got our schedules and met up with Aaron. When we were finished we didn't need to look at it because we're always in the same classes. As we were about to round the corner something ran right into my chest and smacked down to the ground. I looked at the person laying on the ground and heard someone else apologizing to us. My eyes stayed fixated on their person on the ground as she slowly made her eyes move up towards my face. When I helped her up I felt tingles running through my body. My eyes widened and I was shocked to say the least. Never in my existence I would ever think that she would be my mate, a human girl.

    She was beautiful, brown silky skin, stormy gray eyes with black  unruly curly hair. She has the most plump lips that I could suck on and a beauty mark right under her left eye. She had a curvy body and legs for days. I already know she's going to be the death of us. But she's a damn human. My brothers and I already planned to reject her if this became a thing. Then I heard the sweetest voice "sorry for bumping into you."

    "Oh shit!" I heard both of my brothers say in the link but we kept our no nonsense facial expressions on and grunted while walking away. "I can't believe we're mated to a damn human, I can't do it" came Aarons voice echoing in my head. We ignored him and kept walking to our classes. When lunch came around we sat at our usual table with our future beta Chance also some of the pack girls including Chelsea. That's when we noticed she started to turn and lock eyes on us and that's when I saw Chelsea make her way onto Aaron's lap and he just there and smirked at our mate. 'Hello, Earth to Gray' hmm "Gray."

"Hey you guys going to the game tonight?" They have a few new girls on the team that suppose to be pretty good, well at least that's what my mate Amber says. "Yeah, we'll meet you there." By the time we got into the gym the crowd was roaring it looked lit was the third set and we took the first two, the score was 20-22 and we're up. As we sat down we noticed that there were a lot of the pack here seeing as this an all werewolf school. Galena is another we're wolf school but the school is neutral territory.

"Hey where did Aaron go?" I looked around and noticed that Aaron was missing and so was Chelsea. Chelsea and Aaron have been together for awhile now but Adrian and I didn't want any part of that. The game was getting pretty good and really intense., it's now game point for our side to 23. "I'm assuming he's with Chelsea. 'Run' we turned to see the ball hit off of the block and saw Gray run from the left front of the court near the net all the way to the bleachers. "There's no way she can get that" someone from the crowd echoed. The gym was silent and anticipating the worse.

     But that's when we see Gray leap through the air stick one hand out and as soon as we all thought this human couldn't get it she pushed herself further under the ball with a closed fist and curled the ball upwards into the air where Rose was waiting to assist. The ball was so high that it gave Gray enough time to run back do a three step approach and hit the ball down the line passed the middle and right side blockers where the Galena Setter wasn't even ready. The hit was so strong and so outrageous that it went straight down just behind the 10 foot line. As soon as the ball hit the floor everyone was so shocked there was silence. We heard 'whoas' and 'oohs' This is the first time we've ever beaten Galena and with a normal human girl at that. You could clearly see that on our side the crowd was cheering and roaring and the side of the gym held the Galena pack and they were shocked and stunned into silence, some very pissed off people.

     After the game both sides shook hands and then we noticed some of the girls talking to Gray. Adrian and I both looked at each other but noticed Rose stood by Gray just in case something went sideways. Rose is one of our pack warriors so we knew Gray was okay. "I wonder what the was all about" Adrian said but I just grunted. When Gray was finished talking to the Galena pack she started scanning the crowd for someone. Once her eyes settled near us she started to make her way to where Adrian and I were sitting. "What do we do?" "Just calm down, she doesn't know anything" I stated firmly. But sure enough she climbed up the bleachers right past us to a woman sitting in the back.

"Momma you made it! We see Gray give her a big embrace. "Of course baby, you know I never miss any of your games." But something felt off with her mom. I just can't quite figure out what it was. "Alpha" we here Rose say through the pack link. "What is it Rose" we have some rogues at the boarder I left and I'm on my way, Chase is with me." My brother and I shared a look and noticed that the women and children stayed in the gym and all the pack warriors started to make their way out of the gym and back home to make sure the rogues didn't make it through the boarder. Right when we were about to head out with our warriors when we heard Gray and her mom talking.

     "Gray lets go do our usual after a big game huh?" "Yes mom of course we have to keep up with tradition." Hmm I wonder where they're going. I linked Amber our betas mate "amber, I need you to go and keep an eye on Gray, see if you can go with them to dinner." After I said what I needed to say I cut the link off know that she knew what she needed to do. That's when we saw Amber approach Gray they started talk for a while and then they all headed for the door. "Why are you having Amber protect Gray, I thought we were going to reject her" Adrian said. "It's not for protection it's to get information to see who are these people. Adrian get a hold of Aaron and tell him to meet us at the boarder."

Hey guys here's another update. I can see that the book is still a little slow and I will try my best to make it better. They think Gray is human but what they don't know is that she really is part vampire part werewolf (Gray doesn't even know who or what she is). Her father is the Alpha King and her mother is the princess of all vampires. Well for now anyways. Her mom gives Gray "special vitamins" but that just suppresses her wolf and her vampire self not giving away a normal supernatural scent just a human one. Do you think that the rogues have anything to do with Gray and her mom? Do you think that the boys are going to reject her before they find out who and what she is? And what the f is up with Aaron and Chelsea? Do you think Aaron cares even a little about their mate?
