Hey guys, I'm sooo happy 3.4K reads! I'm really sorry about that cliffhanger, but I just had to do it. BTW, ur reactions were so funny to read and one of you guessed correctly of what was going on. Anyway, thanks for all the support and sorry again for that cliffhanger, please don't hate me😅.

Previously:

Clary took a deep breath in and said, "I have cancer."

"YOU HAVE WHAT?"

"Jace," Clary said warningly, "you promised."

Jace ran his hand through his hair, "I know, I know. How long do you have left?"

"9 months."

"Not even a year?" Jace already was on the verge of crying, if the situation hadn't been so serious, Clary would've laughed. Instead, she took deep breath, 

"I already told the twins but I told them that the stars will summon me."

Jace had a tear streaming down his cheek, "What did they say?"

"They told me that you could help me say no to them," Clary giggled slightly, "They must really adore you."

Jace was now full out crying, "C...Cl...Clary why a...are you l...laughing? Y..you're g..going to d..die!"

"I just thought of something."

"What?"

"You got a taste of your own medicine."

"H..how?"

"Two reasons: 1 because now you know how I felt when you died and 2 because payed you back," Clary explained.

"P..payed me back?"

"Ya, Jace 9 months."

"So?..."

"So," Clary tapped his head, "What happened to me for 9 months?"

"Uhh."

"Ugh," Clary rolled her eyes, "Boys are so stupid."

"Hey," Jace protested, "Girls can be so messed up."

"Jace, I have a question."

"Okay?"

"Were you the one carrying the twins for 9 months?"

"No."

"Were you the one who suffered when I gave birth to them?"

"Uh, yeah. Clary, you broke my hand, for like, 6 times."

"Really, and why was that?" 

Jace saw what Clary was up to and he also saw that he was cornered, nonetheless he said, "Because you were in pain."

"Exactly, so next time you say girls are messed up, think of everything I just said and you said now. If you still don't get it, I can carry on with the list." (I don't have anything against boys, this is just part of the story, please don't take offense.)

"NO! Yeah, no I get it. Girls aren't messed up."

"Good," Clary said, like nothing happened, "Now, what was the theme I was talking about?"

"The twins."

"Ya, keep going."

Jace's eyes widened with the realization, "Clary...  are you?"

"Pregnant? Yup," she said popping the 'p'.

"So you don't have cancer?" Jace asked, still worried.

"Nope, I'm all healthy," Clary laughed.

Jace breathed a sigh of relief, then he wondered, "But what did you mean by 'pay back'?"

"Jace, Jace, Jace," Clary shook her head, "Remember my birthday? When you made me think my babies were gonna die?"

"Ya, sorry about that," Jace said sheepishly, "But what did the twins say, if you told them?"

"First off, they did actually say that you could help me escape from the stars. But when I told them about their new baby sibling, they thought we were replacing them. Then I told them that they would be older siblings and Amora especially loved that because now she thinks she's gonna have another doll and playmate. Jonathan loved that because he thinks it's gonna be a boy, so he can play with."

Jace laughed, "So they each want another playmate?"

"Ya, but poor Jonny, Phil has an attitude."

"Well Jonny does have a sassy attitude."

"Jace," Clary said seriously.

"What?" Jace asked, worried all over again.

"I know him better than you, I'm his mom."

"Duh."

Clary mentally face palmed, "He's too innocent for a sassy attitude."

"No he's not! Did you see him when I ask him something?"

Clary giggled, "The poor kid's only telling the truth."

Jace grumbled something about favorites.

Soooo, how'd you like the chapter? Ugh, I don't think I've got enough chapters to fill the dedications, so I'm just gonna dedicate previous chapters. Thanks sooo much for all the love I'm getting from you, I love you guys❤️❤️❤️❤️. Also, are you guys happy I didn't kill her? I also have to go count up the gender votes again cuz I can't remember a thing🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️.
