"What are you doing? Don't." Penny tried to push herself as far back as her chair would allow, attempting to get away from him.

"My love, you have to understand I never wanted to do this. I never wanted to hurt you. But you made me do this. You made the choice and brought this on yourself."

"Stay away from me!" Penny screamed, attempting to kick her legs. Her screams got louder as she felt the rope dig into her ankles, deepening the cuts. "Why are you doing this?!"

"Shut. Up." He gritted through his teeth. "You know exactly why I'm doing this!"

Penny's head snapped to the side with the force of the blow, and she spit when her taste buds were flooded with the coppery taste of her blood. She glared up at Daniel as he smirked down at her, flinching back when he reached out to stroke her cheek. His smirk quickly morphed into a glare full of hatred and rage.

"You asked for this, Penelope." He untied one arm at a time from the back of the chair, moving them to the armrests and tying them there so he could have better access. She thrashed in the chair as he held her arm still, trying to get the needle into her vein. Penny groaned as he missed the vein, stabbing her arm over and over until he finally found it.

"What the fuck did you just inject me with?!" Penny asked, watching him warily as he set the syringe back on the table and turned around, studying her intently.

"It's this lovely little drug called PCP; you'll start feeling the effects very soon." He smiled sinisterly, tapping his fingers on the table as he leaned on it.

"Wh-why? Why are you doing this to me?" She sobbed, terrified about what she was facing.

"Why the fuck do you keep asking me that when you know the answer?! You know you brought this on yourself. THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" Daniel roared, pushing himself off the table and towards her. He traced his finger along the veins in her arm, smirking down at her. "Running through your veins right now is something that's going to make this very fun for both of us. See, you won't be able to feel pain until you come down, which means that I don't have to worry about you resisting. This is going to be fun, my darling."

Penny opened her mouth to speak but couldn't find the words as she felt her head start spinning. She closed her eyes, trying to regain her clarity. Opening her eyes, the dim light in the room looked like it was jumping around and coming to life. Penny shut her eyes again, shaking her head before opening them and blinking rapidly.

"What's happening to me?" She couldn't tell if she spoke the words or not. She thought she did, but they didn't sound like they came from her. Whipping her head around, she looked to see if anyone else was in the room to ask the question, causing her to become dizzy and disoriented.

She could hear laughter, and when she looked at Daniel, she saw his body shaking, but the laugh sounded far away like it was coming from outside. Blue and green streaks jumped around the room like shooting stars, and her eyes tried to follow them before they lost focus.

"I see it's kicking in." She squinted her eyes at Daniel, trying to figure out if he's the one who said the words.

She closed her eyes again, trying to bring back some semblance of clarity so she could figure out what was happening. Penny looked down at her hand, but it didn't look like her body anymore. She wiggled her fingers and saw the fingers she was looking at move, having a hard time believing it was her arm she was looking at. She felt like she was looking at someone else sitting in that chair, arms, and legs tied up, and felt bad for them. She wanted to leave, but she couldn't just leave whoever was tied up here.
