"How peculiar."

A voice shrouded Kawaii~Chan's mind. It came from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. She couldn't pinpoint it. She tried but she couldn't. The voice sounded deep and smooth. It reminded her of silk, that's how she'd describe this voice. Something about it terrified her, as if every fear she had was within this voice, as if the holder of the voice knew her every weakness. Yet it calmed her, urged her to follow it.

"How very interesting"

Feeling. She felt hot, sickeningly hot...It made her tired... memories of her and Zane ran though her mind. Flashes of things she had kept dear to her. Her heart leaped at the sound of an agonizing scream. She knew it was Zane, she could feel it. His pain, this sickening feeling. He needed help, wherever he was, it wasn't good for him. He was dying.

Kawaii~Chan sprung up, heaving. She was panicked, gripping the blanket that lay sprawled over her, her fur stood on end. It was a dream? A moment passed as she tried to recall what was going on, where was she? She shook her head. It didn't matter. She needed to go, Zane NEEDS HELP. She spring from the couch she had awoken on and quickly found her shoes, getting them back on her feet.

The squeak of a door sounded. "Dear? It's very nice to see you awake but where are you off to in such a hurry?" It was the voice of someone familiar, it sounded warm. KC turned to the sound, it was....her old highschool teacher? "Hyria?" KC said the womans name in a whisper of disbelief. Was she in Hyria's home? Why?

A calm smile sprouted on the old womans face. "Why don't you sit back down? I have much to tell you" Sit down? How can she sit down when she saw Zane get snatched away. She knows he's in trouble! "I'm sorry but I can't! Kawaii~ Chan has to find Zane~Kun! I know he's in great trouble!" Kawaii~Chan headed to the door, quickly grabbing the handle and flinging the door open. "You won't get very far. Especially not at this time of the night. Tell me, do you think that you're strong enough to face the creature that took him? Do you even know where he is?"

KC stopped in her tracks and turned to look at Hyria....She wasn't sure about anything at the moment. "Do you even know where you are?" Hyria's questions caught KC off guard. It made her mad because she knew that Hyria was right. "What am I supposed to do?? I can't just stand around when I know he's in trouble!" KC's fur stood on end as questions and worries flooded her mind.

Hyria gave KC an expression that seemed like a mix of concern and sadness. She walked to the kitchen and came back with a kettle of tea and two little cups, setting it on the coffee table. "Come. Let's talk, Dear" She gave a reassuring smile.

Reluctantly Kawaii~Chan listened, she had no reason not to. Maybe Hyria could give her some answers to the questions that had been flooding her mind. The more Hyria spoke the harder it was to digest everything but strangely enough it all made sense with every crazy past event that had taken place.
