Anyways welcome back people to the hamilchallenge, life is currently dead for me but hey only two more days till winter break!! get hyped people! :)
So, day 19 is my favorite scene.
um...
so i've never actually seen hamilton irl???
i know i know, I really should, but we don't have a lot of money at the moment and also hamilton is eXPENSIVE and also is it even showing?? probably not.
bUT i have seen little bootlegs and also animatics of songs, so I know some stuff.
It might be a little weird, but one of my favorite scenes is actually the dance break in The World Turned Upside Down. The instrumental break where are the soldiers are running around stage and occasionally shouting a few words while intense guitar plays in the background? Yeah, it's pretty cool. It's also awesome because it's right after hERCULES MULLIGAAAAAAAAAAAAN does his awesome bit ending with some extremely badass lyrics: "hERCULES MULLIGAN I NEED NO INTRODUCTION WHEN YOU KNOCK ME DOWN I GET THE f*** BACK UP AGAIN!!!" Apparently rap lyrics can be badass, inspiring, and loud all at the same time. So yeah, dance break is a plus for me.
There's also Eliza's scream when Philip dies D; D; D; I mean it makes me jump and also stabs my soul and also makes me cry, but it's... like wow, it's such a depressing moment, but through your tears, please take a moment to appreciate the INCREDIBLE ACTING SKILLS of Phillipa Soo??? I mean anyone can scream, a few sad people can scream like that genuinely, but can you give that haunting cry ON COMMAND? bet you cannot, but she can. just, a moment of applause please.
okay my little brother's probably concerned now but i literally just rolled back from my desk for a second and started clapping.

also wish me luck, i have a choir concert tomorrow but our section has no volume so me with my quiet voice have been kinda screaming to carry my section, but because of that my voice has died and my throat hurts, and now I can't sing that well, and the concert is toMmoRROW, so....... yeah :\
