Chapter 16- The Plan

Y/N's POV

I woke up and rolled to the side, and saw that it was 11:32 am. I sighed and looked at the ceiling. I was already regretting staying up until 4:00 am. I eventually get up and get dressed, then make my way to the kitchen to get breakfast. I see Alex leave his room as I walk down the hallway.

"Good morning," I say, smiling at him.

"Hi," he mumbles, rubbing his eyes.

Once we got to the kitchen, I grab an apple, and go sit outside. The moment I stepped outside, a cold breeze blew, making me shiver. I still wasn't used to the weather here, it was much warmer in Miss Peregrine's loop. I walk back inside and go to my room, then grab my jacket. Well, technically it's Enoch's jacket, but it's still a jacket.

The day we got separated Enoch came into my room and helped me pack my stuff, and I saw him take one of the papers from my "diary", so I thought it would only be fair if I got to take something of his. So I may or may not have took his jacket right out of his bag.

When I put it on, the sleeves went well past my hands, as it was big on me. Although, it still smelled like him, which made me smile. I go back outside and start thinking about what Alex said. We were allowed to send each other one letter. We could make a plan to run away from our loops and meet somewhere else. Or, perhaps I could go to his loop, or he could come to mine.

If only there was a way to get the ymbrynes to see separating couples won't change anything, all it does is make things worse. They won't listen to me and Enoch, but maybe if it wasn't just us, we'd have a chance. What if Alex, Finn, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Enoch, and I all do something? I mean, we can't be the only couples that have been separated! If we stood up to the ymbrynes, it might encourage other too as well! It'll be a lot harder to stop 10 lovesick teenagers than 2.

In my mind, I started to form a plan. It would be hard to do, but it wasn't impossible.

I decide to go find Kaitlyn and Alex, they could help me work out all the details.

Enoch's POV

After Finn told us about his boyfriend, Alex, we just hung out for the rest of the day. We were talking when my door opened, just a crack. We all turned to look, and I saw Heather push the door open and walk in. I smile when I see her, and she walks right up to me.

"Go away, Heather," Finn snaps.

"But I-" she starts, but is cut off again by Daniel.

"No one wants to play with your stupid dolls. Go ask someone else, there's like 8 other people in this loop."

At that, I see tears form in Heather's eyes, and she looks at me.

"Nochy?"

When I was in Miss Peregrine's loop, it was easy to tell Claire and Olive that I wasn't going to play with them, but I just didn't have it in me to tell Heather to go away. It was like I couldn't say no to her brown eyes, especially when she was close to crying.

"Ok, just give me a few minutes, I'll be right there," I tell her.

She nodded, with an adorable smile on her face. She walked out, and I heard the boys snicker. I look over to them, and see them whispering.

"What?" I ask.

"Oh, nothing Nochy," Finn laughs.

"Yeah, we just didn't know you liked playing with dolls in your free time," Daniel added.

"Never call me that again, and go to hell," I say to them.

They laugh and walk out of my room, and I rolled my eyes. I made my way to Heather's room, and I saw her waiting at her door.
