Y/N's POV

Enoch and I were kissing when I hear a rustling noise come from the trees. I pull apart, his soft lips almost touching mine.

"What is it, Love?" he asks.

I look through the trees, but I see nothing. I scan the landscape until I look up. In the trees, I see a peregrine falcon. I feel Enoch's hand move towards my thigh, which he lightly rubs.

"Y/N, what are you looking at?"

He follows my gaze until he sees her too. She starts to fly down towards us, when Enoch jumps up and starts running. I look at him, and at the bird standing in front of me. Once again, I'm faced with a choice.

Be the typical "good girl" and go with Miss Peregrine, or follow Enoch, the love of my life.

She turned into a human again, and I crossed my arms. I glanced over, and Enoch was out of sight. I sigh and accept my fate.

"Miss L/N, please come with me."

I guess if I choose the good girl path, there's still a way I can get out of this. I follow Miss Peregrine until we get to the house. She sits me down in her office, and at first there's only silence.

"It's extremely unlike you to sneak out at night, what made you do such a rebellious thing like that?" she questioned.

I felt my eyes water, and I looked down. All I could think about was Enoch. Where did he go? Is he ok? Is he mad I didn't follow him?

"Miss L/N, are you going to answer me?"

"Yes, I'm sorry. I'm not sure why I acted like that. It was very immature, I swear I'll never do it again. I understand that it was wrong and that I should of just accepted my punishment," I confess.

"I'm disappointed in you. You've always been such a role model for the younger ones, and then you pull a stunt like this. How am I expected to trust you if you are constantly sneaking around with a boy like Mr. O'Connor?"

I stay quiet. I feel the tears drip down my face. I don't bother to wipe them away, crying usually helps me out of these things.

"There was no excuse for what you did last night, you had me worried sick! Which is why I've decided it's not a good idea to have you both living in the same loop."

My heart stops. She's can't separate us. I love him too much to live without him.

"Miss Peregrine, please don't. I l-love him s-so much," I say, my voice quivering. "P-please, give us o-one more chance."

"Depending on how he acts once he comes back home will decide what happens. You are to go up to your room and stay there until dinnertime."

I nod, and make my way up to my room. I couldn't stop crying, no matter how hard I tried. This is why I never fall in love, because when I do I fall too fast and crash too hard. Once I get into my room, I shut and lock the door. My door was almost always open, so when the other peculiars saw me dash by and shut the door, they knew something was wrong. I fell against my door, sobbing hard.

I hear a quiet knock on the door, and I stand up. I open it and see Emma, probably my closest friend. She steps into the room and closes the door before hugging me hard.

"What happened? Is everything ok?" she asks.

I shake my head. "Miss Peregrine's really mad that Enoch and I snuck out, and she said t-that she m-might send one of us t-to a d-different loop," I stutter, barely able to get the words out.

"Everything will be alright, I'll always be here for you," she assures me.

She wraps her arms around me again, and I stand there crying for a long time. After I calm down, I go and sit on my bed. Emma comes and sits next to me, and I tell her about how Enoch and I went to a small cave. I left out the part where I healed the cuts on his wrists though, it didn't seem like my business to tell anyone.

After talking for a while, Emma had succeeded in cheering me up. We spend the rest of the afternoon dancing around and laughing with each other.

Enoch's POV

When I saw Miss Peregrine, all I did was run. I ran until I could no longer see her, then I stopped to catch my breath. I looked behind me, but Y/N wasn't there. I wasn't sure how long I sat there until Miss Peregrine showed up, as a bird of course. She then turned into a human and walked towards me.

"Enoch, come with me. Now."

I get up and roll my eyes. I follow her anyways, even though I don't want to. I couldn't help but wonder what Y/N had told her. Knowing her strict attitude, I was probably going to get a huge punishment. We get to the house and I get dragged into her office. I sit down and cross my arms. She immediately started yelling.

"What is wrong with you?! Why would it ever be ok to sneak out of the house? You are encouraging Y/N to engage in all sorts of bad behavior! Now, because of you, she is in just as much trouble! You are to be grounded for the next 4 months! Don't even think about talking to Y/N either, you two are banned from speaking," she shouts at me.

I roll my eyes at everything that comes out of her mouth.

"FUCK YOU!" I decide to scream as loud as I can. "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? WHY THE HELL CAN'T I JUST BE FUCKING HAPPY WITH HER? BITCH, I LOVE HER! AND YOUR DUMBASS RULES AREN'T GOING TO CHANGE THAT!"

I get up and slam the door open. I start to walk away when she grabs my arm. She pulls me around and backhands me in the face.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS BEHAVIOR! AS OF NOW, YOU AND Y/N WILL BE LIVING IN SEPARATE LOCATIONS!"

I was about to hit her back when I hear Y/N's voice.

"Enoch, don't!"
