Chapter 18- With You Again

Enoch's POV

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked, tears still dripping down my face.

"Muina, it's peculiar ink. I think I have some, we can use it to see what she said," Finn replied.

"Wait, so you're telling me his girlfriend used secret ink to send him a message but made it look like she was breaking up with him? I'm not buying it," Daniel says.

I wiped the tears from my cheeks and stood up, then walked over to the letter.

"How do you know?" I asked.

"Look, going down the lines she spelled it out.  She definitely did that on purpose," Finn said.

"Alright then, can you try it?" I said, a small bit of hope filling my mind.

"Yeah, come on.  I have some in my room."

Daniel and I followed him into his room, where he took out a pen with yellow ink.  He grabbed the letter, and drew a box around the paper.  It started to glow, and the original writing faded away.  Left in it's place was black writing, that was clearly not there before.

I grabbed the letter and started reading it in my head until she mentioned Finn and Daniel.  Then, I read it out loud, in a quiet voice so no one but then could hear.  It was a plan to be together again, and I looked to the two of them.

"Do you think it will work?" I questioned.

"It might, and if it means I get to see Alex again, I'm in," Finn stated.

"I could see Kaitlyn again, and apologize for breaking up with her.  Hell, we might even get together again!" Daniel smiled.

"I still don't get why she wrote it in secret ink, why did she make it look like she was breaking up with me?" I said, more to myself than the boys.

"The ymbrynes will read it first, they can't know about the plan," Finn replied.

"We both sent letters, you're the only one who can respond to them.  But make sure they write back again to determine the minor details.  We can tell Bree, she was separated from her boyfriend too, although it appears he lives in a different loop than them.  Like they said, the more people that know the better," Daniel said.

We decided to tell Bree before writing back to them, just in case she had any questions about it as well. I found her in her room, and she was reading a book.

"Hey, Bree, can I talk to you?"

"What do you want, O'Connor?" she said, not looking up at me.

"It's about something, um, can I come in?"

"Sure, just as long as you don't plan on confessing your everlasting love for me," Bree joked.

"Definitely not," I smiled. "It's about my girlfriend."

"Flowers and chocolate. That's all I'm gonna say," she said.

"What?"

"I'm assuming it's... never mind, what is it?" she sighed, sitting next to me on her bed.

"Well, she had this plan, for couples who have been separated to be together again. I was wondering if you could help us," I told her.

She thought about it.

"What's in it for me?" She smirked.

"You could see your boyfriend again?" I said, but it sounded more like a question.

"How do you even know about that?" she snapped.

"Daniel and Finn told me."

"Of course they did."
