Let me go!
Chapter 7:
How long has it been since Katie’s last exploration around this house?
Oh yes, a week. A week.
She had a week to think over her current situation, a week to plan, a week to get herself together. And where has that gotten her to? Nowhere else but square one. A week of failure.
Currently, it was 3:41 in the afternoon and Katie found herself sitting in her room reading a book Alfred introduced her to.
It was a really cliché story about a girl gets kidnapped by this one man, and this girl developed 'Stockholm Syndrome' and boom! - Babies. She couldn't help but click her tongue at Alfred, who introduced her to the book; but contrary to before, she found herself engrossed in this book. Next thing she knew, she spent all of her hours sitting on my bed reading this book word-per-word.
Everyday felt nothing more like a dull episode, being played over and over again - Except the characters would alter every time it played again. Same routine, same void of doubt,
Katie found herself sitting in her room getting consumed by questions and ended up staying in a trance until the book falling out of her hands pulled her out of her train of thoughts. She carefully picked it up, searched the page she was on before I got distracted, and continued reading. There was a thing about this book that bugged her; she wanted to know what happened outside the plot. What were her family and friends currently doing and what was their reaction about her getting kidnapped?
Her reading session was rudely interrupted when she heard someone shout from outside her door. "Katrina, come on, come out of your room; you need fresh air too." She couldn't really tell who was talking, but she didn't mind them. Her door was locked anyway, which stopped them from entering unwelcomed.
"Katrina-san, we're going to stroll around the garden areas outside and we thought you would like to come with us." Now this intrigued her greatly. 'Outside' was the only word that entered and processed in her mind. She can finally leave these walls and get a look outside! She quickly rested the book down on my bed and opened the door, only to be greeted by Kiku and Feliciano smiling up at her.
"Ve~ Romano and Germany are waiting for us. Are you ready?" Feliciano asked gleefully as she nodded, suppressing all the words that wanted to leave her mouth as well as her want to scream for joy at the sound of leaving these godforsaken prison. Feliciano gleefully grabbed her right hand, much to her discomfort, and began dragging Katie across the hallway.
"H-hey!" She said as she tried pulling her hand out of his grip, but fail dramatically as his grip just tightened. "You're going to like it a lot, Katrina." Feliciano assured as Katie flashed Kiku an uneasy look. He just gave me a reassuring nod and followed behind.
